Honestly what was Calvert Lewin sub all about?

Seems our whole set up is to try and score goals by pure luck. Lumping balls aimlessly forward, hope that something falls our way, and hope that Lewin has some kind of Rashford golden touch.

Mirallas should have been on.

People call for him to play the kids... and then moan when he plays the kids...

Went have had problems going forward all season. .. the defensive side has improved. They never looked liked scoring either first half. It was always going to be a scrappy goal or a mistake which settled it. Koeman has been here a short time... let's see what January brings.

We have 11 men behind the ball mostly, would hope that it would improve.
Unfortunately, it actually hasn't.

Yes and we did that again but came up against a team with better players who played a lot better the second half. Its impossible to play good football with these players. Koeman wants his players to press but in the second half we lost every ball because of the lack of quality.

Anyone your playing against is going to play a lot better if for 53 minutes you just stand on the edge of your own box letting the opposing team pass it round for fun while you stand there admiring them.

They needn't bother. Unless he drags us into a relegation fight he isn't going anywhere.

"Knives out" mentality from the fans would be completely counter productive.

May as well get behind the team properly.

I totally agree, that's why the finger points directly at the manager unfortunately. It's something that needs to be addressed asap, if he loses the crowd then he's walking a fine line

He's been here 2 minutes.... he's assessed the squad by now... let's see what he does in January before hanging out to dry. Personally I believe a manager needs at least 2 seasons to build his own team. Unless of course you're battling team drop.. which we are far from doing at the moment.

You can only play with cards you're dealt. This is still not his squad. We are having a poor season by our reckoning yet are only 3 points behind a Manchester United team that boast zlat and pogba... bit of realism and acceptance is needed I think.

Losing a DM against those lot would have been suicide imo

I know hindsight is a good thing mate, but putting Barry in the middle didn't make a difference, it had the opposite effect. The first thing I said to my lad when he came on was that we would get overrun in midfield.

Shows how little faith koeman has in Mirallas, or any other attacker really if he's bringing a kid on who hasn't really done much ahead of him.

Only thing I can think of, is Mirallas is carrying an injury or getting sold?
Its not the kids position out wide so don't get it.

Said it before mate, but you don't have to be a quality player to go and put a tackle in, or go and pressure the player on the ball.
