Lots of kneeJerk here... the Mccarthy sub changed the game... barry doesn't have the engine to do what Mccarthy gave us and it just invited pressure onto us. We were quite comfortable until then.

Comfortable as in setup solely not to concede. We are very toothless up top and the RS biggest weakness is their defence, we had no ambition to see how weak it was.

Totally agree. I know feelings are still running high but I have no faith in him at the moment. We play like a pub team.

Barry sub was forced tbf but DCL was odd given that we had Mirallas on the bench and were looking to counter.

True, That has to be down to the players though

Koeman didn't tell them to drop off second half, They did that themselves by stopping pressing as a unit

Agree that it is down to the players, but when Barry went on we lost our shape and were all over the place, that's when Koeman needs to earn his money. Also, I love seeing the young lads coming on, but throwing Lewin on before Mirallas was a strange one.

Yep, if the limit of your ambition is to make life reasonably difficult for your opponents and maybe even sneak a draw, it was going swimmingly until half time.

I know he had to bring someone on for McCarthy, but if we are going to put someone in midfield who won't contribute going forward, put Cleverly in. At least he would have ran his arse off and closed down like McCarthy did.
