Ronald Koeman discussion

Aye mate if they'd clicked a few weeks earlier they'd have gotten top 4, it's why although I'm concerned the way were playing I'm not going full panic mode about it, managers tend to have trends and koemans seems to be a strong second half to the season. Imagine that bolstered by 4-5 Incoming players of genuine quality. Possibly on the back of 9/12 from the last 4 if we beat hull.

Aye, maybe in a few months, after some additions, we will all look back and be amazed he got us to 7th/8th with what we currently have.

Who knows?

Way to look at it, we are playing pretty ugly footy, yet aside from a last second goal against the rs we'd have only lost once against the current top 6 (Chelsea) with one win, and 3 draws. We had arguably only been resoundingly desrvingly beaten in that game as well.

We haven't got a system, loads of players are either hitting g the wall age wise or badly off form, yet we are sat in 7th half way through a new managers first season. If he gets additions in, who hit the ground quickly and some of the current lot start adapting to what he,wants we could all enjoy what's to come and this ugly footy atm will just be the means to an end.

Got to say we played terrible stuff early doors with Kendall until things started clicking.

RK should play the team v Hull that finished bar cleveley instead of Valencia - you watch the stek will be back as will barry!

Go early mate, Barry won't, pulling him off for a kid after resting him as a starter for two games was a huge sign .

Koe man doesn't strike me as a sentimental type, Davies will start next game.

If we finish 7th this season I'll be satisfied. In all honesty, the 6 teams above us at the moment are all a fair bit ahead of us quality wise. The real challenge starts next season. That's when I'll actually start to judge Koeman on results.
Agree 100% on this mate. If there is any truth on this Barkley for sissoko crap I might change my mind though. Although if we can swap cleverly for sissoko that'd be fair

Obviously a strong league campaign is incredibly important, but a cup success would go a long way to break the cycle we've been stuck in.

I would say a Cup win and finishing even 17th would trump a 7th or even a 5th place finish.

This club desperately needs to see silverware again.

Why does he drop the same players then? and leave the old poor players in?

Like who mate, he has dropped Barry - didn't start either the arsenal or Derby games, jagielka was dropped earlier and wasn't brought back in today even though fully rested after suspension

The only mainstays have been, gueye, Williams, coleman, Baines and lukaku.

And obviously bolasie pre injury.

Barry can't play two games so close together

He'll start Celeverley against Hull, with Davies coming off the bench again

Just got to hope Clev doesn't cost us the game before Davies comes on

Stop this please Michael

Snivelley will never start for Everton again ever
