All football forums across the land have meltdowns, not just this one.

Matchgoing folk are more reasonable thankfully.

There is reason for concern though. We have an average squad with a manager who as of yet, isn't up to the task.
 

I honestly think the players (or some) are totally ignoring him.

How many times has he said we need to start quicker, yet we are pedestrian every game.
How many times has he said he wants to press, yet we dont.
He said tonight that Barkley was in the team due to the fact that we will have more possession, yet we hoof and hoof on repeat.

His starting lineups may not be great but imo the players are not interested at all.
 
after every bad result its Koemans fault just like last year with martinez. When do you starting to realise that 3/4 of this team is not good enough???

Mirallas, Deulofeu, Valencia, Barry, funes mori, jagielka are not good enough and never will be. Same with cleverley, oviedo etc etc etc.
This will take time and untill then you will keep seing these performances. Some people really don't seem to get it.

Koeman is working with a horrendous side and yes possibility he's made some bad calls but I reckon he must of had a valid reason for making those decisions. He see's the players day after day (can we please leave out the normal idiotic comment about him only working one day a week here please!) so he therefore has a better understanding of the squad then anyone on here does. If he makes decisions you or I don't understand I trust he's made them for a good reason.

You have to give a manager time. I agree with that. 2 years at least. But for me he cannot keep picking players who are not performing. What he sees in training ir not... There are players who are on the pitch who should not be.
 

Would be really disappointed if there aren't at least 4 changes to the starting line up.
The mentality of the team is absolutely disgraceful at times.
The start today is as bad as Sunday league teams.
They show for 10 mins they can play them go to pot as soon as they score then make them look like world beaters.

Worst thing was there number 5 forget his name making him look like Beckenbaur a no name Hull centre half for gods sake.


And breathe.
 
People going mad about bringing funes Mori on? I was ok with that. I might be wrong but I thought the thinking behind that was to allow Coleman and Baines to push forward without worrying about having to track back as far. It was too late to change anything but meh, it's done now.

When you aren't playing well, the basics are fight and team spirit. Getting beaten twice and we come away with a point. Should have won it with the late chance but we move on. It's very early stages of Ronald's reign. I just don't get the negativity.
