Look, it was obviously a good three points today but you have to unpack that a little dont you? We were woeful most of the game and playing with the same clueless approach until very late in the game. It's not a stretch of anyone's imagination to put down the late surge to an opponent finishing off their third game of the last 6 days tiring badly.

How is that at all controversial? It's the only appraisal you can give that match. If both teams had a week to prepare for that game could you have seen this Everton team breaking down Southampton late on?

You will never be happy as long as our Ronald is in charge do you? Maybe you can watch Belgium to make yourself happy. Who cares whether the footie is direct or tippy tappy? We won, 3 points.

If?

Moyes did not leave in 2009 btw.

I am sure they tired, but it's about squads, selection and management. RK brought on Valencia and he made the difference, Barry for the last 10 also helped as they were tiring, decent management decisions at key points, something we lacked as Bobby lost his grip last term. I think DCL was bright and we looked good at the start, losing him early took the steam out of us.

A true leader and legend in the dugout

Great to see
I wish that were true mate. We just witnessed another insipid performance that was retrieved only by another team's depleted energy levels.

I want a proactive manager; that isn't what we have here, imo.

Important to point out that by the end of last season we were losing ugly and the players confidence had absolutely hit rock bottom.

Thank God we've got a new manager in and we're actually hitting expectations being in 7th place.
Agree. But around this time last season we were losing 4 3 and 3 2 and missing chances. Some prefer that though !

Clean sheets are amazing aswell as 3 points. Crack open a beer n enjoy the victory if you are capable of it.
