Ronald Koeman discussion

I'd like a win that was carved out and planned and perfectly executed. I dont think we saw that today. We saw a tired team versus a very tired team, both of whom are as bad as each other and would cacel each other out under normal circumstances.

Is it THAT difficult to accept that this was the deciding factor today? It's abundantly clear to me that it proved so. How is it even remotely controversial to make that point?

Oh Dave

Poor Daves actually fuming.

I'm not fuming at all mate. This is a marathon not a sprint. Unfortunately I can see that Koeman is going to struggle here to give us anything other than a good run and then a bad run, a good run then a bad run. That's the type of manager he is. Streakiness like that is due to a lack of a convincing method that can ride out dips in the form of key players. This is what we'll see until he leaves.

We're 7th in the league thanks to that pesky calendar.

It is quitevly imperararative that we get to the bottom of what surroundering means and talk about Koeman, who is doing a cracking job of being not Martinez

as annoying as hk can be, its a bit harsh taking the piss out of his english if its not his first language Orly.....or at least I think it isn't his first language.

its not like they dont give enough ammo without kicking them for their english

I think we should all care if the football is good enough to win games and leave it at that. Has there been enough of that this season so far? Even today's win owed more to a gruelling programme.
It was only when Lennon went off as he was dire the changed formation gave us the very good win - again not a complete satisfactory 90 minutes , but the win was nice 3-0 was nice like , but overall still one shot on target in 45 minutes on target, more pluses then minuses today though from back to front in the team !

The sub: we were at home playing with our usual clueless attacking game and there's half an hour left. What else is he going to do other than stick another forward on? The manager of Marine would have done that.
The 'clueless attacking game' as you put it Dave has clearly worked better then Martinez's 'mindlessly passing for the sake of it and keep the ball even if that means going back all the time game' did. Koeman has already equalled your beloved's entire home win record of last season by Jan 2nd! Thank goodness our manager has enough sense to prioritize results over performances, because the gash squad the previous dunderhead manager left simply isn't capable of both.

This is more fun than I thought it was going to be, I don't think I've ever witnessed a fan making excuses to why his team won before. Very strange though.

I've been the match today and I'm buzzing we won. Just got in.

I'm now gonna have a read through the match day thread and see all the happy posts at the time the goals went in. I've got Jeff Stelling's show recorded and I'm gonna watch that to see the pundits reaction to our 3 goals and finally I'll then search for any radio commentarys I can find on various stations 'listen again' features.

After that I have MOTD set to record and Nissan match Choice on record on SS1.

Now I know that may be sad, but I think it's brilliant when we win and 7 points over Christmas will do just nicely.

The fume is ridiculous.

It does smack of wummery.
