Ronald Koeman discussion

I think the team lacks a bit of confidence but we seem to be more organised than a few weeks ago. I cant wait to see what we will be like by the end of the month once he has a few more players that he wants in the team.

It was only when Lennon went off as he was dire the changed formation gave us the very good win - again not a complete satisfactory 90 minutes , but the win was nice 3-0 was nice like , but overall still one shot on target in 45 minutes on target, more pluses then minuses today though from back to front in the team !
Yeah but Dave rates Lennon, he's said it ample times. He's woeful and always has been.

I've been the match today and I'm buzzing we won. Just got in.

I'm now gonna have a read through the match day thread and see all the happy posts at the time the goals went in. I've got Jeff Stelling's show recorded and I'm gonna watch that to see the pundits reaction to our 3 goals and finally I'll then search for any radio commentarys I can find on various stations 'listen again' features.

After that I have MOTD set to record and Nissan match Choice on record on SS1.

Now I know that may be sad, but I think it's brilliant when we win and 7 points over Christmas will do just nicely.

The fume is ridiculous.

It does smack of wummery.
My older brother was there today I will get his feedback - he needs to go more than he can but has struggled for tickets he and his son got in at the Southampton end the tickets they sent back - he at the cup game v Leicester too so it bodes well!

The training since Hull must have been betterlol;)

Come on Dave - you make some good points when you post but there now being lost with what is now an obsession against our manager. The fact is we're 7th and whichever way we look at it we area damn sight better off if RM would still have been here. There remains lots of tough days ahead but for yoday we won 3 0 and let's enjoy rather than spin rest days etc etc.
I hope I'm proven wrong mate. I really do. But my overall assessment of this manager is that he will continue to be streaky in terms of getting results. It's what he's done before at other clubs, so why should the very real probability of it happening here be seen as unfair comment?

Half there outfield players hadn't played since the 28th, Only 3 had played the full 90 in the previous game

6 of our outfield 10 had played the full 180mins in the two games before this

Utter lolz Dave

He will ignore this post probably as it outs his point as a total failure

100% that will happen unless major investment is made

Look, it was obviously a good three points today but you have to unpack that a little dont you? We were woeful most of the game and playing with the same clueless approach until very late in the game. It's not a stretch of anyone's imagination to put down the late surge to an opponent finishing off their third game of the last 6 days tiring badly.

How is that at all controversial? It's the only appraisal you can give that match. If both teams had a week to prepare for that game could you have seen this Everton team breaking down Southampton late on?

As usual you ruin reasonable points with another Dumb Dave Fact, that is not a fact but an opinion.

I can understand why most consider you a WUM when you stick in rubbish like that.

A team has also to prepare and train for opponents and two days less is a massive ask to do quick turnaround preparations.

Question: would you have liked us to have been the team playing it's third game today over the last 6 days, or would you have preferred we were the team that had the 8 days schedule?

That's 48 hours resting up and preparation time more that we had. Do you really think that wouldn't have a huge part to play in the result?

So what was hulls excuse today

I'd always like us to have an advantage. I'd have us allowed to play with 15 if it meant we won every week.

You're game is getting weak Dave, maybe a lack of match fitness since your recent sabbatical ? Couple of weeks training and you'll be back up to scratch i'm sure.
