FOR THE LAST TIME

Stop posting the same question over and over again...you are clogging up this thread.

Just quote the original posts i apparently made and get back on topic.

If you cant then stop posting.
So you are refusing to answer a simple question? I would have stopped asking you a long time ago if you had offered me a simple answer.

But there you have it, Zat won't answer a question, one simple question. And do you know why you won't answer it Zat?

Because you can't stand to offer Koeman any praise whatsoever to the extent you will be that dismissive of a simple question rather than say anything that might be a positive thing for your team's manager.

Which means in turn, what does that tell everyone about your postings? You won't say anything nice about your club's manager? You won't even praise him for playing a youth player over others who could have made the team yesterday.

So well done mate, you have outed yourself as a massive hypocrite that you found yourself in a position where you can't bring yourself to say anything nice about your team's manager so choose to avoid the question over and over again.

and let me guess, you aren't reading all that...right?

This is going to run ...Might take the rest of the week off sod it :)

Oh I'm done mate

I've made my point, given my opinion and explained why I have come to it on multiple occasions

He just keeps spouting on about me providing quotes, when this isn't about quotes, which if he paid attention he'd actually understand. There's no quote I could provide because I don't need one. The mere fact he's still at Koeman even after giving Davies 90 minutes us all I need to make my point, it's then up to him to agree, disagree or provide a counter point, and he's done none of those

I'd also like to think I've argued cogently, but I guess that's up for debate. Hey-ho, tried my best

If he doesn't understand my argument then that's really not my problem at this point

What concerns me is that he can't offer a single bit of praise to Koeman. He can't just turn around and say 'fair enough good on our manager for giving the young lad a chance' because he is so single minded in his hatred for our manager. That is all i was asking him, not asking for a write up on the man himself, just a yes he did well playing him.

R A was gathering a head of steam as well :)

Ash is your new year resolution to be more like Jeremy Paxman?;)

For me, it's a lack of courtesy, strange as that sounds

I'm sure there's plenty of posts from me when he came in worrying about him not giving kids a chance, but he's actually done way more than I thought he would, so I can only give him a nod of approval at this stage in the game

Again, he might sign some experienced pros this window and the kids might not get as much of a chance, in which case I'll no doubt be bemoaning it and requesting more game time for them, but at this stage what else can I say about him when it comes to the kids? He's played a few of them and has trusted them with a decent amount of minutes

Right now, it only hurts the kids to be laying into the manager when he's doing what I've asked of him, so I'll instead give him his due credit and hope he keeps it up

That's just common sense right? Or am I wide off the mark here?

It's fine mate. Personally i had my own reservations about it all based on previous history but playing Davies over Barry or Cleverly yesterday really impressed me because the boost it would have gave the lad meant a lot more than a result. It told a young lad in the squad that he had earned his place in the team, which would go a long way in how Davies sees his chances at the club under the manager.

Especially when you consider two of the players who could have played over him are league winners. Davies must be buzzing off yesterday's game!

Well one thing is for sure, it's a lot more fun in here when we win, in fact it's verging on hilarious theses days. Can only hope RK keeps up the good work and we keep improving.

My carpool mate is a Saints fan and was always saying Ron never gave the youngsters a chance at Southampton and he seemed to be carrying on that philosophy here, maybe he was giving the senior pro's a chance to impress, but something has changed his mind and he now appears to be willing to give the youngsters a chance, good on him, certainly in the case of Davies this is now paying dividends, I had been banging the drum for him to be given an opportunity and he's certainly made the most of it.

I guess it's all well and good giving senior players a chance to impress but he should already know players like Cleverley, Kone, Oviedo etc. aren't up to standard so the only alternative outside a transfer window has to be looking within which I thought he'd have done earlier. I know he was Saints manager and before that in Europe but I support Everton and still know which Newcastle players are garbage.

Whilst Koeman deserves some credit for playing Davies it's not as if he just unearthed some gem from the U23s, loads could see Davies was ready to start and how good he was, that's why I just can't go overboard with the credit because IMO he should have been playing more game time than he's actually been given. Koeman will get more plaudits off me if he sticks with him against Leicester, a game where we'll need his high energy and enthusiasm, but for some reason I can't see it now Barry has been rested, will be happy to be proven wrong though.

EDIT: Forgot Gana was away! should mean Davies starts while he's away.
