I'd never say he should be sacked but I'm fuming in a way I haven't in a while over Everton for a while tonight.

Season hinged on this game today and we lost to a team that haven't won away from home.

No one is happy, I know I'm pissed off massively, also when you look at the strength of the 6 teams ahead of us given our recent decline and their strengthenin, where we are in the league is the best we can hope for. So it does feel like season over, but Rome wasn't built in a day and you get the same trophies for going out today as you do for losing in a final or, the embarrassingly small time mentality that celebrated reaching semi-finals.

Just need to move on, hopefully it gives the money men a shot in the arm, because today goes to show that playing a youngster and Barry ain't going to win us many games, nor is playing Mori and the like.

Any season in which we go out of both cups so early and easily and lose the Goodison Derby is a bad one.

He can't salvage this season now for me, it's the first week of January and all we have to look forward to is a grapple between 7th and 10th.

If it's a transitional season, then we need to see an improvement. We need Everton to have an identity back - every game we seem to just be going through the motions. Really, really frustrating to watch.
