Ronald Koeman discussion

What other attacking options did he really have beside Kone?

Lookman is cup tied and DCL is injured

We're massively short in that area

We've already signed Lookman, but I still think we need another

Saido is the answer, WBA don't want to sell to Stoke, jump in with a 10 Million bid for him. He's got 6 months left on his contract and he won't be signing another. They'll bite our hands off

Anyone giving Koeman grief wind your neck in. What manager in the world is gonna win things with these utter frauds we have.

It's not fun, it's very frustrating, but Koeman is not the problem. Koeman is the answer to the problem.

The board need to back him and the fans need to back him as he starts culling the overpaid, pathetic deadwood.
Agree mate but his substitutes are baffling.

Mikey you were making a really good point, then ruined it with that last paragraph

It isn't rocket science. First half we had control with no creativity. To gain creativity we had to abandon control. We haven't got the players who can give us both. It doesn't matter what formation or style we play or what manager we have, until we get better players we'll have days like today.

Having said that the pressure is on Koeman and Walsh to bring in the right players.

The only fault against him for today would perhaps have been not bringing Jags on after getting the 1-0 lead and reverting back to the 3/5 base and seeing the game out but even then he can't comprehend the team folding that quickly after scoring.

Morale or not these players need a public slating instead of the pansy attitude they have been given for 2/3 years so i am made up to see Koeman ripping in to them in the media. If they are not man enough to handle the criticism and show signs of improvement then they shouldn't be in this club.

We are still early in the process of building something for the future, the summer was a mess and this is so far from a squad Koeman would be happy with, it's worth remembering at Southampton he practically had to rebuild the entire core when he joined so he was lucky in that sence, here though he is inheriting left overs from the Moyes era and alot of lads with 0 fight in them from the Martinez era.

He has this January and the summer to build his squad before i will genuinely judge his decisions for the club. The focus now is to bring a couple in before the end of the month try and close the gap to the top 6 but most importantly maintain 7th and hope it falls in to the european places which will help attract players in the summer when the major rebuild is needed.
