If you rate our squad as trophy winners or top 4 competitors then fine, but this viewpoint baffles me personally.

I don't think I said anything about them being trophy winners or top 4 competitors, or indeed anything about results at all.

What I am looking for is progress in implementing Koemans ideas/organisation and tbh so far it is pretty thin on the ground - you shouldn't have to replace the entire squad surely to see some small seeds of improvement week to week?

... but our young strikers aren't ha I can't even think of who'se next in line, DCL injured and niasse have been starting this season in the U23s. Today was the sole reason kone is still here, to be our 4th choice striker or whatever he is. Jeez, is DCL our 2nd choice striker? ffs.
