Ronald Koeman discussion

Exactly. How on earth people look at this feller and his CV and believe we're lucky to have him is beyond me. This season so far should disabuse them of that craven attitude: season over by early January, playing utter muck for most of the time, and the feller never stops bleating about how hard he's got it in terms of the squad.

Just STFU and do your job or do one.

He does his job. 7th in the league is the maximum for us.

Even poor teams can put in a performance if the manager can get it out of them. They should have been scared [poor language removed]less to come back in after not putting in a shift in. It was the last chance of winning something and it doesn't seem like they gave one hoot.

Exactly, at least he earned the right to have a good cry arse session against his board. This no mark hasn't.

Season over by Jan 7th. Impressive stuff eh?

Not really season over David.

I mean this is the 21st season in a row that we have exited the domestic cup competitions, so its not really shocking, nor is it new.

We still have 7th to claim and with it an avenue to the Europa League and the ability to grow the exposure of the football club and make it a better prospect in order to advance the club further, plus the small matter of around 5m per League placing.

So not Season over.

He's spot on here @davek you pulled up Moyes for being a soft arse with the board and you said Martinez shouldn't be taking crap from the board so if your now calling Koeman a crying arse then your opinion basically means nothing does it? Plain and simple Koeman is saying "you've promised me money and signings so spend some money and get me the signings", basically what we are all saying and thinking yes?
Look, the problem isn't confronting the board, it's what resukts you're likely to get and what message it sends out.

That, if it's true, makes us look like a rabble. Koeman has led us into the season ending abyss and then lashed out at his employers and it makes us look like some Geordie nation mess.

He does not get Everton and he never will in a million years.

Sock it to im bro!

He appears to have backed himself, or more precisely the board into a corner here. He has also given himself a path out. For whatever reason, probably the opportunity afforded to him by the performance of the players today, this is a watermark.

The board must now fulfill the vague hints of using this window to bridge the gap with the top 6 and back their, and by their I mean Moshiri's man, in the next two windows.

So you want him to wait until 'he's earned the right' to have a go at the board?
How long will this take in the Dave schedule of things?

That apparent Koeman rant against the board: the words of a man who wants out, imo.

He has no feel for EFC and he has no aptitude or desire for the job.

Him and Barcelona. Ha Ha. Imagine this cry arse at the Nou Camp. FFS.

Bases on your own deluded fantasy. You really don't know what you're talking about. It's almost funny.

We can still finish 6th if we sign eight players.

You really want Koeman to have us playing 50 games a season when he cant cut it over the first 20 odd of this season!

We reached two SFs last season and had our hopes ignited and it kept interest in us taking our first trophy since 95. Now we have nothing. NOTHING.

No. Confronting the board needs to be done if they wont back him. Do it out of the glare of the media like any class manager would. This isn't Newcastle and we're not Geordie impressed by grandstanding ytool managers.

But hold on, isn't Moshiri the best thing that's happened to us and he's giving Koeman £60M to bid for Koulabily?

Hmmm.
I research this forum, because I'm a sad nobhead. You definitely asked the board to be called out by Moyes. So why not Koeman?

The £60m bid question you posed is questioning Moshiri's public declaration that we did make that bid. That's up to you what to believe, fact is, if he was lying, that'd be a terrible terrible sign. Let's hope you're wrong.
