Ronald Koeman discussion

Look, the problem isn't confronting the board, it's what resukts you're likely to get and what message it sends out.

That, if it's true, makes us look like a rabble. Koeman has led us into the season ending abyss and then lashed out at his employers and it makes us look like some Geordie nation mess.

He does not get Everton and he never will in a million years.

We are not talking about "getting Everton" here Dave. We are talking about a manager saying "enough is enough, you've promised me money and players so where are they". He's not moaning because he hasn't got them on the 7th Jan, he's moaning because he didn't get them in the summer.

Your saying he makes us look like a rabble, but last night you were saying you don't trust Moshiri, you don't like Kenwright, your not a fan of Elstone so we must already be a rabble without Koeman adding to it in your eyes.

I'm not arguing with you Dave but fgs if your gonna post stuff having a go about the manager then be consistent and dont change the rules to suit your dislike for him.

You really want Koeman to have us playing 50 games a season when he cant cut it over the first 20 odd of this season!

We reached two SFs last season and had our hopes ignited and it kept interest in us taking our first trophy since 95. Now we have nothing. NOTHING.
Except a gutless squad filled with absolute shîthouses that your mate assembled. Thus leading to our current predicament.

Stoke have spent quite a bit. Southampton have been impressive with their spending. Koeman will take over from Wenger...no shadow of a doubt in my mind.

@davek

You said that about Koeman on 30th March 2016.
How can , in your mind, Ronald be good enough to take over from Wenger but not good enough for us?

This is the koeman thread isn't it?

For one minute I thought it was the mouriniho/who ever thread.

Keoman has been a manager for 13 years 2 years at the saints don't make you great.

Yes I'm behind him but also think he go his job from his name and 2 seasons at the saints.

If you look at his record objectively he's struggled outside of Holland with the exception of Southampton.

It's a shame Martinez lost the dressing room he ran out of idea's after the first season then the players and fans lost faith in him. But Koeman seems to have run out of idea's already I really wanted a more passionate manager, more full of life sort of thing but he seems a really boring sort of bloke.
He's a manager not a performing seal! Who cares if he's boring or not?! I really don't don't get this need people have to have a passionate and vibrant manager, how would it make any difference to us if he's full of life or a miserable arse? You don't want a manager, you want a politician.

I have faith that he'll do much better once he's got rid of this awful squad. He's clearly come to the club because he was sold on an ambitious project and now it's time for the club to put up and back him. The squad is bilge and everyone knows it, yet we currently sit 7th which most people would agree is the best we can achieve with this side. Yes it's disappointing to crash out of the cup early but its not like he's the first Everton manager to have that happen on his watch.

I am consistent. I dont trust the board to provide him with cash. Neither do I trust Koeman to get it out of them - and playing to the gallery like this emphasises he wont be able to get it out of them - it's megaphone diplomacy and that's all about heaping blame on others. That rant today (if he in fact said those words) was pure frustration at the defeat and an attempt to deflect away from himself and onto others. It was pretty dishonest.

In order to make the thread run in a forwardly direction, lets not focus on what went before, yes im aware I mentioned the 21 years, but lets look at the here and now.

We have a squad full of some very talented players, but sadly, in key areas we have underperforming players that have needed replacing for a number of years. Our manager is trying to advance the playing side of the squad, but is being frustrated in his desire to increase the quality of the squad.

Thats currently were we stand, I assume you are backing the Board in all this? A stance I find doesnt fit the stance that you have taken for the last 7 or 8 years of your being on this forum. Which either means you are lying or you are simply being an utter wum that should be removed from this thread, what is it David, are you lying or wumming?
