Erm, what are you going on about?

Yes, I do blame them. The club should thank their employee for his efforts and wish him well - to not do so is unnecessary and bitter.

It's got nothing to do with the actions of their fans, it's about the club being unprofessional in that statement.

we on about So'ton here? Yeh, it was a right arsey statement, they've well and truly taken their ball home... or, well they would, but we've nicked it

This makes me like him even more , we need a horrible snidey manager. Hopefully it'll rub off on the players.

It is completely professional just not complimentary. They have not criticised him. On the other hand we released a gushing statement about Martinez after firing him. Most clubs do. We all know it is drivel. Their statement is cold and factual because he has made a u-turn and left. Should be our gain but don't expect a bon-voyage. We are rivals.

Just like we thanked Wayno

From what I've heard the Saints board are very upset with him, he gave assurances that he would stay after they tabled a new contract, but when Moshiri started his pursuit things changed and he went back on his word, I guess our ambition was in stark contrast to their own, so he back tracked.

You can understand their annoyance, but I wish they'd drop all this 'small club' crap, it's a ridiculous argument in any event, 20 years ago Man City and Chelsea weren't even on the radar, look at them now. Southampton have been a yo-yo club for years, it is hardly a footballing hotbed but it's nice to see they've got some really good people running things and I'm impressed that they've survived being raped and pillaged every close season by the RS, but to suggest Everton is a backward step just makes them look stupid.

It's a nice contrast to what has gone before. Just remember if he is succesful then one day we are likely to get the same treatment. That is fine but don't moan when it happens.

If he performs well enough to get a dream move to Barca then good luck to him. They're a bigger club than us and you can't blame someone for wanting to go. It'll mean we're in a boss position anyway so I won't moan.

Honestly, this is the most boring uninspired managerial acquisition in our history, at least Mike Walker, Roberto Martinez and others were a gamble and it was in a way exciting.

Not this guy. Dutch Moyes. All of you dreaming of big things, I hope you enjoy 6/7th for the next decade.

Crap.
