Ronald Koeman discussion

I know my stuff. That's who I am.

Barkley - yeah. He's really hit top form this season. 3 goals and 2 assists. Inspired by Koeman that is.
As i have pointed out before. You backed the last manager to the hilt, and we all no how that ended, and you also proclaimed that Leicester would crash and burn last season. History shows that your opinions are usually flawed " MASSIVELY"

For which he received a temp ban for accumulated warnings.

And since then has sensibly deflected any discussion on OFM to the relevant thread.

edit. Should add that we appreciate that.
Regardless, it was a relative comparison to how Koeman handles the media and how the most recent manager did. Two differing styles and I prefer the honesty of Koeman instead of Martinez criticising fans and lying to them.

I dont think so. He makes things happen around the 18 yard box. I can see how you'd question that atm given the statuesque movement of his team mates.

Yes thats a fair point. Here is where I am with Sigurdsson. As indicated previously, for similar reasons o Bolasie/Williams/Schneiderlin you are never going to get optimum value when signing them and it's unrealistic to think so. However signing people who know the league does have benefits too and is less risky.

I think he's a really talented player. His "numbers" are fantastic. He is creative which is what we are missing and could be the replacement for Peinaar we've been missing, but with more end product.

What I worry about though, is aside from free kicks how much creativity is there? Perhaps more importantly, where does he fit in? Is he one of the 3 centrally, or will he play wide ah la Tadic? Also what does this mean for Ross Barkley? Is it the end for him? If it is, should that worry us?

A lot to consider there. What do you reckon buddy?

I said Leicester would be one of the worst champions ever. I think that's been borne out by events.

Ideally you'd put him out wide, where he mostly plays. Been crying out for that as we need some intelligence.

But I don't think Koeman wants that out wide.

As for Ross...I don't think he'll be here in the summer.

in Davek defense, we did have the highest point accumulation ever under Roberto, progressed far in the Europa the second year, and made it two 2 semis in year 3.

So do i like after the fa cup game he put pressure on the board by being honest

He isn't being honest, he is throwing his players under the bus. We have played some of the worst, most boring games I have ever seen. Literally unbearable. He comes off as the type of coach who was a great player and has the mind set "Well I achieved everything so listen to me." In the USA these coaches very rarely become great, if ever....

I think Barkley is now an irrelevancy. He won't be here much longer. If I had my way I'd have Barkley playing in CM with Gueye, and Sigurdson ahead of them playing off Lukaku with Deulofeu and Lookman operating wide.

I disagree. On both counts.
