Ronald Koeman discussion

Absolute class today got everything spot on.

This is the template of how he wants us to play he knows what he is doing, we need more of his players in because he is improving us massively. It takes time but looks like its coming together.

Also unlike Martinez faux player improvement, he is improving players. Barkley is benefitting from him, he's becomd a More complete player we just need him doing it consistently now. I trust rk.

Today was it. The first complete 'Koeman' performance and coming without the player of the season so far.
It's no coincidence that it's coinsided with the emergenge of the energetic Tom Davies. What a player he looks.

If we get CL you will still have a dig at Ronald. The players response...
That won't be happening unfortunately. After the United game well still be miles off 6th.

This feller needs to learn this lesson today and be more positive. Even here we were reliant first half on punting too much.

Well, you have to give credit where it's due. Its been turgid so far but a performance like that (especially second half) is a real step forward. Just about everything he tried came off.

We need that to be the standard and not the one off though.
Today fior me was the day RK understood Everton, and down to a young kid called Tom Davies.
Let's nurture this lad and let's improve Barkley, as young local players matter to the fanbase

A great performance by everybody today, deserved and will be recognised by all

The back heel through two City players to set it all up was superb.

If he's out of the team Koeman needs a kick in the bollocks. I'll do it.

I have been posting that Koeman needs two Windows to stamp his mark on this team, it will be next season before we can really assess him.
Days like today give us a glimpse of how things can be. Hopefully the players will learn from this, this is how good we can be, this is how good we deserve to be.
Today we have set a standard, let us maintain it.
It is noteworthy that today is our 9th win in 20 games, that is a significant improvement on the last two years.
Today doesn't make Koeman a great manager but it should earn some respect of those who don't rate him and give him time and space to try and get us into that top 6.

Let hope this is a start of things to come, perhaps he's starting to finally get things right. If we are going to finish this n 7th I want us to finish with a big gap between 8th.
