Ronald Koeman discussion

Said it before and I'll say it again, the Martinez holy grail of 72 points was +9 from the previous season, that means if Koeman can get to 56 or more (& that's being kind to RM as 3 of the 47 points wasn't his...) he would have matched or bettered the improvement of the previous manager in his first season.

The real kicker will be after the end of the next season where I doubt we will end up 25 points off this seasons total.

Your lad Ronnie needs an extra 10 games per season to get 72 points. He's way too streaky a manager to be consistently competitive over 38 games. Before this season ends he'll go on another 7/8 game non-winning run.

It's all good, mate. We're going to lose the next 4 games but then go on a 13 game winning run. 72 points, all hail the fat ginger weapon.

So you think we are going backwards under Koeman? By my maths that's means we are taking a step back culmatively everything we progress?

I'd like to know where you think we have recessed in terms of ability as a team?
everything is decidedly less phenomenal

I find the ignore button works a treat and silences "the voices" ;)

You are right in some respects but it also proves useful to continue to listen (read) the lunacy of some in order to maintain some balance.

If you are not getting that balance from somewhere then there is a chance that you are the one spouting the lunacy.

The key to remain sane yourself is not to snap and get drawn in to a pointless exchange - easier said than done at times !

Thing is, for everything people disagree with when @davek posts, there is always some good points in there that hold weight. Perhaps very few about martinez sure, but i have came back to some stuff he posted months later and actually seen a bit of truth in there.

Like the players not playing for the manager, then months later we can see the same thing happening again.
