Ronald Koeman discussion

I'd be worried it sets a president for any keeper coming in ala Fergi at United. If he applied the same logic to every player in the pitch you'd have nobody able to start a game. Mistakes are unavoidable and it's just one of those positions that means it unfortunately usually leads to a goal. Consistent errors are what get me worried
I don't disagree with you at all. I just don't think that Stekelenburg deserves to be given more leeway than Joel.

We should lynch him every time he ever so slightly gets the nuances of his 3rd language wrong IMHO. I want blood. This is an outrage.

I have to say his presser today really impressed me. I've not been too keen on him so far but he just seems to be straight forward with his appraisals.
I like Jags as people on here know but quite right - he's out of the team and needs to impress to get back into it i.e. no favourites, regardless of whether you're the captain or not

Every single thing any of us have ever done in our lives is a function. Going to the toilet is a function, as is eating cheese on toast, as is booing and making banners protesting against Everton's manager for being crap.

Don't need to be lithe to show the players a thing or two, Davek.
He certainly isn't lithe mate. IIRC this time last season he was still hobbling round on crutches having jumped for a ball in training at S'ton and have all his bulk come down on his Achilles.
