Hopefully Gundogan can score the winner against them in the final.

People forget that Moyes was a good manager for us. It's actually a compliment to Koeman.Totally different lad
Reed started and finished the Qtr final as did McQueen; Sims came on as a sub.
Reed, McQueen, Stephens and Isgrove all started and finished in round four
Reed, Targett, Hesketh all started and finished in round three.
Oh look ^^^ facts.
Why not have a go at producing one or two of them yourself?
Pfffft!

Top 4: I expect us to challenge for that each season. You should too shouldn't you?
This ^^^ is the exact type slippage I was referring to earlier in the thread: that we now just settle for a pat on head as best for the rest like we did in the Moyes days.
No, no I dont. I've stated umpteen times it's acceptable this season.
Maybe if I say it umpteen times +1 it will work?
He was but the football and tactics are totally different mate .People forget that Moyes was a good manager for us. It's actually a compliment to Koeman.
I personally think this is an unnecessary and offensive way to refer to Martinez who despite all his failings as a manager is a decent bloke.RK is steadily getting rid of the rubbish left by El fraudo but it will take some time...I think when he arrived here that his strategy was to look at all the squad and decide on who he wanted to stay and who he didn't. This process has started and results are slowly starting to improve...it may take longer than some of us think but I do not expect miracles overnight....if we end up in the same mess that martinez left us in then ok but I don't expect this to happen. Can't we enjoy the progress for what it is - yes we are unlikely to qualify for the CL this season but whats wrong in trying like hell to win as many of our remaining games as possible...season ended?? Not for me it isn't
There is 7 out on loan to get valuable experience mate and so far they have done well it's a merit to efc that is mateLet's forget about comparing koemans saints youngsters. All I care about is EFC. I'm delighted that Koeman has seen the light and finally given youth a chance in recent games. Not only has it given the team a lift and the supporters, but most importantly it has given the whole academy a lift. Young players realise that if they listen, work hard off and apply themselves they too could make the first team one day.
The EL?! FFS, do you really want a new team that's getting forged to be bogged down in the football equivalent of the Vietnam War?
Ok mate, be my guest, see us get a EL place...but dont start objecting when some of us bemoan the massive turkey of a PL campaign next season.

I see, we're good enough to win next season's EL...but it's outrageous to ask that Koeman delivers 5th next season.you will complain whatever mate, if we are sat above where you have said is acceptable, you will simply pick up the goalposts and move them and set a new criteria which will allow you to continue your anti-Koeman posts.
So you think a club which has only ever won 1 european trophy in it's history - that we should turn down the chance to compete and win a trophy mate, really?
as for the Eol mate, i have no worry - until we got to the later rounds i believe Koeman has shown he will play a lot of the younger players in the dead rubber games anyways, it's great having a manager who trusts the youth so much isn't it?
BTW as for youth players etc, being involved in the EL would be a fantastic opportunity for them to get more games and more experience.
Good look cheering on your second team in Southampton Dave, you ordered a half and half scarf yet?

Back to the drawing board mate.
How's the Kazakhstan PL season going...has it stopped snowing yet?
