You just cant evangelise about it to me, that's all. There's no converts to be had here. I'll reach my own decision on Koeman in good time. Recent signs are much better than earlier ones, as playing decent football is the key for me. Green shoots? Maybe. Let's see.

You are missing the point, you were judging him right away when any sane fan knew he had a massive job to do after the mess Martinez left. Any sane fan knows you have to wait before judging.

I judged him lacking as a man not a manager...and I still dont like the feller. His capabilities as a coach are yet to be proven either way.

Bournemouth in particular are extremely adept at turning round games late on.

Yeah Eddie Howe strikes me as a bit of a Martinez manager. Bournemouth keep the ball really well, and can score goals (highest scorers outside the top 7) but shocking at the back (47 conceded - 2 a game!)

Even in the first half, they kept the ball for minutes at a time, but it was slow and ponderous and did nothing with it. When we got it back we were direct and pacey, and they couldn't adjust to the change in tempo.

He's an absolute abomination of a poster and I'd happily see him banned tbh.

I commented at the time that I didn't see that starting 11 coming, but I like that. Koeman looks at our opposition and sets us up in personnel/formation that he feels is best suited, and it didn't half work for the first 45 mins yesterday. Our front players, lukaku especially, were getting into acres of space and punished them. Having said that, I though were too deep defensively but they didn't take advantage.

At half time they switched it round pushed further up the pitch and looked more dangerous, we just needed to keep calm and keep doing what we had been, but they got a goal through a straight clip in between our 2 centre halves which should never ever happen. They got the confidence and got the 2nd but koeman switched formation and dominated them for the last 10/15.

Deadly going forward, must do better defensively, but I'm certain koeman will be livid with the goals we conceded and he'll do something about it.

Doing alright for me is Koeman, to even be near the top 4/6 must be an improvement on the last 2 seasons, regardless if he's a charismatic man or not, for me he's ruthless and seems to be getting results, that'll do

I have found it difficult to warm to him as a person,but I doubt hes bothered by that,and to be honest neither am I,had my doubts with some of the football played at first,but its improving steadily,fitness seems a lot better and he has cleared a few waste of space players,so as long as it continues he can carry acting whatever way he feels is best for the club

Things for me which have improved massively are fitness of all players and also tactical awareness with no fear in making a decision.
Still thing we need a dominant centre half, but all in all a massive improvement on the previous incumbent for me. At least now I can go the game with some hope of a positive result.
