Ronald Koeman discussion

Think it will be hard to keep Lukaku after this season. However, if he does leave I expect the fee to be more than £65m.
This.

If Celtic were chatting £40m for Dembele and Chelsea forked out £33mil on Batshuayi (both unproven in this league), we could pretty much name our price on a player who is not only a proven consistent prem goal scorer, but arguably still has his best years ahead of him.

Hope we don't sell him though, he's proper boss

If we want to be where we want to be then keeping Lukaku is a must (stating the obvious like!)
But in all seriousness we need to build a forward line around him, I can't think of another forward in the world that we could get to replace him if we can't break into the top four, plenty more to come from him and I'd like to think we get his best years.

It looks like koeman has come good which is massive and with what lukaku has come out and said about him as a manager might just be enough to keep him. That an bringing in the players that could be built around him to show that we will do anything to challenge the top 4 and Europe. This summer is going to be the biggest summer for Everton in my life time so let the good times roll please don't destroy all our hopes and dreams by having another summer like last year

It looks like koeman has come good which

Its waaaay too early to say that. the whole giving a manager 3 years thing works both ways.

Signs look promising though. The thing that gave me hope most was his last press conference where he seemed to be enjoying himself a lot more. Before that it always felt like he had a constant nark on. Probably due to the rubbish audio quality to be fair....

Yeah couldn't agree more but I think the narks was due to the fact we were terrible week in week out but something has clicked and if we are enjoying it koeman seeing his work pay off a lot more is going to bring a smile to his face because he doesn't look so silly after the form we are in if that makes sense

Makes sense to me.

My wife always says how much easier to live with I am when Everton are playing well and winning :)

I imagine football professionals are pretty much the same ;)

Good points bruv.

Fella from Scottish league and unproven in Premier League, with his best years ahead of him = valued at 40m

Fella from Belgian league, unproven in Premier League with best years ahead of him = bought for 33m

Lukaku, top scorer in Premier League, proven over several years, with his best years ahead of him = Surely a lot more than double those above
