HahahaRonald Koeman to Barcelona: Agent claims La Liga giants want Everton boss
BARCELONA are interested in Everton boss Ronald Koeman, according to the agent of fellow Dutch manager Frank de Boer
Ronald Koeman joined Everton in the summer from Southampton and he has impressed so far this season at Goodison Park.
The Toffees are currently on a seven-game unbeaten run in the Premier League and are just seven points shy of the top four.
And according to Frank de Boer's agent Guido Albers, Koeman is attracting attention from European giants Barcelona.
Koeman played for Barcelona between 1989 and 1995 and was assistant manager there in 1998 until 2000.

He has often appeared to flirt with the idea of a return and now it seems like they are looking at him as well.
Albers was asked about De Boer's future plans after he was sacked by Inter Milan in November.
And while he ruled out a return to Barca for his client, he revealed the La Liga champions are considering Koeman as a replacement for Luis Enrique.
When asked if De Boer would be going back to the Nou Camp, Albers told Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb: "No, I do not think.

Luis Enrique has suggested he could leave Barcelona in the summer
"Frank is a piece of Barcelona history, but I think the club has in mind other technicians.
"Like Ronald Koeman, now at Everton."
Enrique's current deal with Barcelona expires in June and he is yet to agree new terms with the Spanish club.
And speaking to Barca TV in December, the 46-year-old hinted he would be calling time on his spell at the Nou Camp.
"I have no doubt that I'm at the best team, with the best club, with the best players," Enrique said.
"But there is also one thing about this job that is very hard, it costs me a lot and it's a negative that I have to factor in when considering the next few seasons."
Its happening again lads.
Slight over reaction no?
I didn't mean that we will, just that the media always does this.
Get ya mate Martinez in, then we would see how good he really is!Hahaha
"Get Señor Koeman in. We need more 80 yard balls to Messi."
FFS. As if.
Small thing I know but have you noticed that he has started refferring to 'us' rather than 'Everton'
I had a maths teacher at school- he was as hard as nails and very strict to start off with. You wouldnt dare talk or play up as you know you'd be for it but slowly as the year went on you would have a bit of banter with him- still respected him and wouldnt talk out of place as you knew he could lose his nut.
The whole class flourished and applied themselves to get really good end of year results. He was probably my favourite ever teacher.
Point being- carrot or stick? Seems Koeman kept it very business like and strict to start off with- referring to us as 'Everton' and calling people liek Barkley out for not being quite good enough- also slating the overall squad almost weekly. Now hes settled in and loosening up a tad but still commanding respect from the players.
Just a theory anyway.
Good point, Martinez proved that being overly friendly and easy going gets you nowhere.Small thing I know but have you noticed that he has started refferring to 'us' rather than 'Everton'
