Maybe. I dont know the ins and outs of the Messi/Guardiola/Ibra saga, but I think beyond the personality clashes and dented egos Ibra was there as a target man but they neglected him and played him out wide and expected him to do a Henry job. Koeman would not do that and the whole Barca system would have to bend....and break possibly.
Never a serious consideration this.
Only you could be against us getting in a manager who oversaw his team beat BRAZIL 7 bloody 1 in their own backyard! Classic Goat

It would me. Id accept the points, but I wouldn't be proud of it.I agree we were. But to be honest I just want to win. I want us to play it on the deck more because we're a better team when we do. But if our strengths were best served by going long to a 6ft 9 striker and hitting huge diagonals then that wouldn't concern me in the slightest if it got the win.
Don't encourage him lad FFS!
Ibra likes to be the centre of attention wherever he goes, his ego demands that. That was never going to be the case in that Barcelona team. Lukaku at the moment is the focal point of our side, he doesn't have an ego as such, but you can tell he likes to be the 'main man' as such. Koeman is building hopefully a team to bring the best out of his greatest talent. He alluded to this partially in his press conference when he spoke of the teams need to press the opposition, but countered this with but our strikers role is to score goals. Is lukaku getting preferential treatment to get the best goals return possible? If he is, it has certainly worked in the last month. I doubt lukaku would get that at any other 'top club' he has aspirations of joining.Maybe. Ha ha. I still can't get over how he continues to pick his nose and study the contents. Dirty get.No we bloody wouldnt, the ballbag sniffing tool can stay where he is thanks.
You do realise 4-3-3 isnt the hardest formation in the world to adapt to.
Ronny himself has played that this season.
Dont make me compile a list of the managers that have beaten Arse sniffer.
Just a hint, Roy Hodgson is on it.

You'll be delighted with Joagi once he builds his Everton dynasty
After we win our second Champions League with Joagi at the helm, we can look back on this conversation and chuckle
Personally I think Koeman would ship Lukaku out for a bustling CF in the Pelle mould.Ibra likes to be the centre of attention wherever he goes, his ego demands that. If he gets the job im gonna support City Mikey.
He does great counter attacking football. Still, this is Everton and we demand managers who can at least keep their hands from down their kecks and away from their nostrils for 90 minutes.Joagi tactically would strike me as someone you'd approve of. That German side in its pomp is fantastic. Imagine Everton playing like that!
Think we the addition of schnerderlin and the return of Gana, we will not only have more legs and energy in midfield, but better control in games. The defence will not have the need to 'go long' when you have such midfielders who are so comfortable on the ball, allied to fact our 3 at the back that has utilised the 'strengths' of holgate, Williams and Mori who all struggle to play in a centre back pairing, then there is a lot of optimism for the remainder of the season not just in the results but also the style of football that you allude to.I think it's helped yes. He's got energy and he distributes well. A good linking player.
