Ronald Koeman discussion

He's been here 5 minutes and doesn't even register as an entity at Everton much less get under my skin.

If he comes in and does a job (ie actually win something after spending the fortune he'll receive) then job done. I'll acknowledge his input and thank him for it. But he's nowhere near that point, and any Evertonian should regard him as being on notice rather than offer adulation for getting 7th spot in this phoney 'best league in the world'.

Im pretty sure the Everton manager registers with every single Everton fan David.

What a strange train of thought.

Of course hes done nothing so far, how could he in such a short space of time with such a terrible starting point?

Its not only about the here and now, here and now hes done quite well, hes made the team hard to beat, stopped the rot at the back and got certain players playing at their best, hes also got rid of the majority of the players not good enough to play for this club.

The bulk of the job will be completed in the summer, when him and Walshy will construct a squad capable to hopefully cope with Europa league, do well in the cups and mount a serious assault at the top 4.

Thats when the hard work starts, but the ground work has been set, our manager demands the players perform, our manager demands the players give 100%, surely thats what we, as fans, demand?

Certain managers in our past have belittled us, knives to gunfights, certain managers in our past have told us lies, Ronny tells it how it is, what a refreshing change to have a born winner in charge at the top, somebody who knows what it takes to win, has the mindset to achieve victory, all hail Ronny K.

I hope Koeman jibs us off in the summer just so I can watch you cry gravy.

...

Would cry if we appoint Koeman, Eddie freaking Howe or Mark bloody Hughes.

Not a fan of fat head Keoman, think hes done an average job at Southampton, Vitor is doing what he do, winning Titles, thats all he knows, but keep chatting utter wham and lashing personal insults, I will just LOL at you like everyone does.

We have the fourth best defensive record in the league under Koeman so far this season. So give the man credit where it's due Davek.Koeman has sorted out our defence pretty emphatically imo.

OK, rather than dissect your every word and get into a bun fight.. I'll present much more positive evidence of progress in the past 9 months - most of which is down to Ronald Koeman

The Departed and Sent Out on Loan XI

Howard, Hibbert, Stones (for a great wedge), Oviedo, Geri, Pienaar, Gibson, Cleverley, Osman, McGeady, Niasse sub McAleny

Most would agree that - Stones apart (maybe) - none are missed

(obviously excludes younger players who are sent out to learn more).

Brought in / introduced to the first team

Stekelenburg, Holgate, Williams, Gueye, DCL, Davies (ok, had one sub appearance under Martinez), Morgan, Valencia (loan), Lookman, Bolasie

10 players.. unqualified success - Gueye, Davies, Holgate - and most of the rest already looking pretty decent. If the keeper and loanee Valencia are the least positive of that bunch (say average ish) and neither has been awful then what more can one say to prove the point? And this is without getting all the targets we wanted in the last two windows.

Koeman has removed nearly all the cack (he wants shut of Kone) and brought in a lot better set of players.. tell me also how we're not better than last season!?!
