Would McCarthy not have to agree to that? He's a lad who clearly loves playing for ROI, so would he stay quiet and miss an international break?
We'll see. He cried off playing against Scotland a season or so back because of the furore around him facing the country he chose not to declare for. That was down to an "injury" too.

Edit: Aaaaaaand he's out of there. He saw the futility of resistance and that white towel came in faster than a lorry load of jizz on his mar's face

You don't mess with the UN mate - especially when threatened with forced disarmament.

Oh and it was more like a truck load than a lorry load - these details are important.

Boss Blue's next challenger is fellow forum vet and Tory mod, Bruce Wayne. This is a different league now Jim, and some the bookies are already paying out

Where are you going with this mate?

You know full well that the Republic will call him up whatever we say about his fitness levels. They always do and will check his fitness themselves. They also have track record of playing both McCarthy and Coleman (and Gibson for that matter) in Internationals, after they have been injured for us, and they often come back injured again. Plus McCarthy is proud to play for his adopted country and would want to play if he was fit. So it's completely out of Koeman's hands.
If he is called up it's Koeman getting his blows in first.

Are you suggesting there is no continuing bad blood between Koeman and O'Neill/Keane? That's unreal if so.

I really have no idea what is going on on here any more.

Truth is though, because we didn't turn into the Harlem Globetrotters of football immediately and we had a bad run of 10 games, a few certain individuals on here used that as a point to throw their cards in early with the new manager and as a result have made a right show of themselves.
