a bell maul

yes, I acknowledge that a loss isn't necessarily 'a bottle', but re the Spurs game specifically, I sensed a timidity in our mentality which I hadn't detected in our previous very recent (i.e.couple of months) playing performance. Our set up was defensive, and that's ok if the mentality is still to attack on the break, but I just feel we were lacking in the second part of that strategy.Did we bottle the game though or were the second best team in the league just better than us on the day? We made mistakes but would another team have took advantage so much of them? I mean whow many team's strikers pick the ball up and shoot from outside the box the same way Kane did to catch Robles out?
I believe that sometimes in football we aren't the best team ever and if we lose a game then it is simply because the other team was better than us. If it was sunderland we lost against then i can understand dwelling on it but no shame in losing to spurs and certainly nothing but lessons to take away from the result
