Ronald Koeman discussion

Indeed, orly.

I had forgotten about that.

If I am honest with you, I am starting to get a bit worried right about now :(

People should do mate.

If you go back and look at Elstone's spiel at the AGM (new shirt sponsor imminent, massive raise in wages etc) literally none of it had come true.

And yet, what are Prentice and the bozos asking about? Ah right, they are waiting for Paul Joyce's copy.

The koeman PR at 1.30 today should be fun, full of Lukaku,Barkley probably and no doubt pos Barcelona thrown in
He will be expecting all that to be mentioned.
I'd love a journo to throw in a question about Niasse on the sly and catch him off guard and he will say what he really thought about him.

Just watched his press conference.

His calmness tends to rub off on you and he talks intelligently. I'm really glad he's our manager because I think with him in charge, wether Rom stays or goes we'll be ok.

He was a great player and seems to have all the attributes of a great manager.

This. I wasn't keen to start with but first to say I was wrong.

Think we might be doing an Arsenal without the CL money, build a stadium first then the team, hope I'm wrong tho.
Moshiri might be a billionaire but he still won't want to spend his own money on the team, he will try and find ways for the club to do that. Still he's a successful businessman so lets hope he knows what he's doing!

The Guardian: a once great newspaper that now is a click-baiting tabloid rag. Totally mischaracterizes Koeman's press conference to stir the pot:

Koeman criticises Lukaku and warns Everton will not be held to ransom
• Everton manager unhappy with Romelu Lukaku interview and may take action
• Koeman tells Ross Barkley to sign new contract or be sold

Sake. Make it a little bit believable.

Sake. Make it a little bit believable.

The culture now is for managers to suffer the consequences when players don't perform. Ranieri - prime example.

But Ronald has clearly improved the group, his tactics, in game management, formation flexibilty, defensive and offensive improvements, reduction of mistakes and style of football have all been a welcome and speedy pleasure. But what I most like about what I see developing in him is him becoming a Boss - Alex Ferguson never took any rubbish from players or journo's and Ronald came across like this today. Not abrasive, but in control and in all honesty, players are assets that come and go as are managers, but if you get a good manager you should back him over any player as he will get the best out of the group and they will run through brick walls for him.
