I agree, if Martinez had come away with a typical season in his first year then the board would not have felt pressured to sign Lukaku at the time no. The migrating circumstances made it look like we were on the perapice of breaking the top 4 so letting a top young striker leave us without a fight was suicide for Kenwright.

Great effort by the new fitness coach/team too. past 5-10 games we've looked much much fitter. Just shows how much pressing takese out of you if you aren't ready for it.

He needs to give himself a slap in the face for taking so long to start playing football and waiting for Bolasie to get injured before launching it downfield was the game plan.

The story you refer to on the OS: basically amounts to this - Cruyff aced like an autocrat undermining players without rhyme or reason sometimes, so that influenced me to do the same.
