Ronald Koeman discussion

The Ron fella isnt going to be a happy chappy today!!
I would expect the Irish FA will get a nice little call from him today

Countries should take responsibility for players that are borderline injured. If Everton say we don't think he is fit enough and give Ireland the reasons then the responsibility should be on Ireland and if the injury that occurs on duty is part of a reason why Everton didn't want him to go then compensation such as paying his wages for the time he is out etc should happen. Should also apply to the player if it was his choice to represent his country knowing his club laid down reasons that he shouldn't.

He'll be mad for sure but he's not stupid, he's right to dislike Keane (most non Irish/non man united fans do) but this wasn't irelands fault, this is football.
It will be VERY bad form if he chooses to continue this feud with the Irish manager when an Everton player is recovering from a horrendous injury.

That should be the extent of his comments on that game.

I agree, if Martinez had come away with a typical season in his first year then the board would not have felt pressured to sign Lukaku at the time no. The migrating circumstances made it look like we were on the perapice of breaking the top 4 so letting a top young striker leave us without a fight was suicide for Kenwright.
It was more to do with Martinez prioritising the signing of Lukaku and not spending on any other major transfer activity, saving fees received to splurge on getting Rom.

Agree to disagree on that. My perspective is a little different on the matter, which is why I think we paid more than we should at the time as well but another thing that.

Guess would be that he will mention it but not make it into a massive deal due to Colemans injury

Then again the manager and our medical staff have been proven 100% on this, unless you stick by your assertion he was 100% fit to play Dave and it just so happened in warm up he developed a completely unrelated new hamstring injury?
