Ronald Koeman discussion

All 4 goals were pathetic. My thoughts were that it was an even game coming away from the ground and when I saw the stats it backed my thoughts up.

I know it goes against the grain here, but I thought this. They had a spell in each half for 10-15 minutes where they grabbed control, but otherwise was pretty even. Robles wasn't making save after save, they were just very clinical with their finishing - all 3 were very good finishes (which followed poor defending to allow them space)

Nothing like last season when they were queuing on the edge of our area to have their 35th shot on goal, and the Liverpool bench were p!ssing themselves laughing at us.

Will take Koeman more than 9/10 months to sort out our woeful record away at the top 6, it's nothing new.

They were better all over the pitch and fully deserved the win.

They were 3-1 up for a long while - stats become irrelevant once a side has a comfortable lead as they have no need to do anything except restrict opposition chances - which they did comfortably.

This is fair, but worth looking at the stats Prior to their 3rd goal, which show a relatively even game.

This isn't to say we played well - we didn't. But just think on the day we were outdone by quality where it counts.

Don't think anyone is saying they didn't deserve to win but based on some of the comments in here you would think we didn't touch the ball. The game was very even, second half we put a lot of pressure on them. The big difference was their two big players, Mane and Coutinho turned up, ours never.

2 league defeats in 2017 ain't that bad and we were missing a few players yesterday. It's been an acceptable season of decent progress and we just have to get the wagon back on the road by beating United on Tuesday. The tide will turn our way eventually in derby matches but at the moment it's not to be.Im over the derby all we can do is focus on the next game now.In Koeman We Trust.

I don't give two poos what the stats say. We were awful. Nobody turned up.

Including the manager who's head was still up his arse even after the game carrying on his pathetic squabble with O'Neill.

Eve of a derby and he's tweeting BS about that.

What was he supposed to do Dave? Stay quiet and bow down to the great Martin O'Neill and his BS statement like a timid lapdog?
