Ronald Koeman discussion

Including the manager who's head was still up his arse even after the game carrying on his pathetic squabble with O'Neill.

Eve of a derby and he's tweeting BS about that.
To be fair O'Neill is a contemptible, lowlife bottom feeder who'd annoy the Saints (the religious ones not the team.) :)

Massively disappointed in Koeman after this game as I was with the Spurs game.

Once Coleman was out, 3 at the back was never an option because we have no other wingback. It's such a specialised formation with having 3 CB's and 2 wingbacks and to play it in the Derby with 2 inexperienced players was suicide. Especially on the same side as Coutinho. Fair enough he got it wrong, 2-1 at HT a change to 4 at the back and we can get ourselves back in it. It was obvious we were being taken apart down the right hand side and he needed to change it before a 3rd.

Then his comments after were contradictory, we made it hard for them and then said but we gave away silly goals, which one is it?

Also the pre match media was poor. What is to be worried about playing Liverpool? Then gets beat himself in the same manner. Then the O'Neill stuff, put a lid on it Ron and get focused on the Derby ffs.

I think he is a really good managed for us right now but I'm worried in these big games he is already showing his limitations. Hope I am wrong and he learns though and once he makes the team his own we see better results in these games.

No he's not mate. He's a verbose divvy, but essentially harmless. Only a crank would get into a running feud with him when he should be concentrating on one of the two biggest games of the season.

Don't cut Koeman any slack on this. He was pathetically obsessed with a war of words hours before, and minutes after, a derby game.

Lamentable.

No, just focus on the Derby until it was over.

Not too difficult. He does get paid £6m per season to be professional.

Someone calls you out, you respond, much in the same way you personally do on here. Especially one who ironically done exactly the same as Ron did about McCarthy when he lamented Emile Heskey getting called up by England when not fit enough to play for O'Neill's club at the time Aston Villa

Haha sorry. Dont let me get in the way of your amusing Koeman vendetta, which has by the way in case you hadn't noticed become self parodying. Highly entertaining nonetheless. Keep it up ,that man! ;)

Thought the season was over in January Dave?? You need to be more consistent

Going public about O'Neill was a move to put pressure on him to not do it again, it's an intelligent move.

I know you like weak managers who don't have the balls to tell the truth and just say we were phenomenal all the time but most people don't.

Eve of a derby ...... and you were slating our manager, bit rich of you talking about how other people act when you go on like a major bell all the time.

They were better all over the pitch and fully deserved the win.

They were 3-1 up for a long while - stats become irrelevant once a side has a comfortable lead as they have no need to do anything except restrict opposition chances - which they did comfortably.

A simple truth.

"game management" as they call it in football nuspeak.

And no matter what gloss people try to put on it, we were hopeless after their first goal went in.

Lets leave personal insults out of it

Yep. We were level for about 10 minutes in the whole game, and 2 down for half an hour. All other stats are completely meaningless.

Hopefully he's making ruthless judgements on all of this shower.
Hopefully yes. I know we say it every year but this summers transfer window will show if we mean business or not no excuses, koeman will have had a full season to assess the squad and walsh a full year identify targets .A quick decision on lukaku if he is staying also a quick sale at top dollar if he we decide to sell
