Ronald Koeman discussion

It's because you Bolded the You You bit.

Point is, criticise him by all means, but only if he gets praised when we're doing well.

Which is the normal response, or at least should be.
The team should be built around a player like Ross (or someone comparable but, probably inferior), as it is currently around Rom.
England should do the same but, they won't and will continue to 'not' win things (different to losing things!).
What I'm trying to say is, a player 'like' Ross should always be on the pitch, as you never know when you need a goal.

koeman needs to get mirallas, barkley, lukaku, lookman, calvert-lewin and any other attack minded player in the squad in one room. He needs to spend 2 hours on video's showing them the mistakes they made in that game when on the counter attack.

he needs to then get them on the training pitch and get them to learn how to lay the ball off at the right moment.

he needs to show them how to manipulate defenders movement

he also needs to tell them that this is a team game. teams help each other out. if you see someone who is in space and has a better opportunity to score then lay it off.

far too many times we have players being greedy and messing up counters.

Probably, but it's also the job of our attacking coaches. Football clubs spend millions these days on sports science, specialist coaches for specific positions and roles ... yet footballers still go out there and look like they need their heads banging together. They are all way too selfish and unintelligent tbh and it's cost us what would have been a brilliant win.

So, we should test players, against our historically, two biggest rivals and not bother about the result?

No. But Saturday ended any chance of a top 4 finish so I suppose Koeman is looking at what he has ahead of next season.

There is nothing to play for now in what has been a season of transition.

Would have loved 6 points this week but the squad is not strong enough.

Big spend in the summer.

Pennington was like a lost wee boy for 10 mins. It so very nearly cost us a goal when he left his man, fellaini and turned his back on the ball as a cross came in to run blindly to ibrahimovic. He was all over the place.

Watch that event again and you will see Williams direct pennington to zlatan rather than run the 5 yards to him. Williams then moves 2 yards towards fellaini. What else can a young lad do but follow the order from his senior?

I understand that mate but, my point was Saturday and tonight, were maybe games not to look ahead to next season?
It's done now, onwards and upwards. He probably will get it right, hopefully, there's nothing wrong with 'constructive' criticism though.
As you say, a big spend on players in the summer. Or even, a spend on big players.

agree, but i look at his options, and bloody hell they're crap options. The fact we're loaning west ham's 5th choice striker says everything. I honestly don't know how we messed up so badly to not bring in one competant striker in two windows and for what seems like the 6th or 7th window in a row i'm going to be saying "we actually need someone really good to share the burden with lukaku". In all that time we've bought niasse, just niasse, in 7 windows where we've needed a striker we bought one and he was a massive flop. I suppose we bought calvert lewin as well, but he was more intended for the U23's when he was bought.
That's why I'll really reserve judgement on Koeman til next season, it's going to be a very important transfer window in the summer. Even more so if Lukaku is sold.

Wrong subs. Valencia should come on instead of DCL. How long will Williams get banned for? 2 matches? I cast my doubt on Pennington. Can Schneiderlin play CB?

Sorry, we only just lost our lead to a last minute penalty

He was 60 seconds away from his tactics being an unqualified success, with a team rife with injuries

People with agendas need to KOFF

Yeah, I won't excuse him for Spurs or some of the earlier games in our poor run, but I'm not having a go at him for that tonight, no way

This. Will. Take. Time

We are slowly improving

Have some bloody patience and stop being so entitled

I'd like this twice if I could.

Wait, where are my multi-accounts...

United were toothless and we had them on a plate for the taking. He played it second half with a pop gun counter attacking unit, not committing bodies to attack in sufficient numbers. Then he loses his nerve and takes off two players in Mirallas and Barkley who were occupying United and putting a shift in.

Never mind agendas and 60 seconds from "unqualified success", Koeman ballsed that up.

He likes to present himself as a top manager (and the gullible fall for it) but he's miles off, and the tactical errors he's made this season at key moments underlines just how bang average this feller really is.

Guys, stop blaming the Manager.
Doesn't matter what he did, they were always going to concede at the end.
Same old story with this squad. Turn them all over...

Just to recap, Ronk is a 'Steady Eddie'...and a coward...and bang average...and somebody who flaps...

Unless he's schizophrenic I can't see how he can have all those personality traits at the same time.

As for your slanderous comments about Moshiri, well, do you have any evidence that he's a fraudulent liar who is going to fleece us for the stadium costs, or are you just making stuff up again?

You must be a barrel of laughs at parties mate.

ALL managers have to deal with injuries and suspensions.

No special dispensation I'm afraid.

I know we're 7th and its been an ok season, but I actually do think given his woeful flapping against the big guns he is going to have to prove himself big time here next season.

Season two he's under the microscope from the off.

Haha you're incredible Dave. He's been under the microscope with some since day 1 anyway.

And just to show that our record isn't really any worse...
