Ronald Koeman discussion

So there you go. Koeman has oversaw 12 home league wins this season which is the total his idiotic predecessor managed in two full seasons! Going the match feels good again and our home form is to borrow a phrase "phenomenal"! Even when we play badly like we did first half today I'm confident of getting the three points like we did in the end. Cheers Ronnie!:pint2:

I hope he's played it right with Ross because we need to keep him, especially if Rom goes. One thing you can't accuse him of is fence sitting, he has tried to force the pace with Ross pretty much all season, it's a risky strategy and as we don't know what is going on behind the scenes, it's squeaky bum time when he makes comments like he did last week. If Ross signs I will be convinced that Koeman is our man, he has had a good start but I'm hoping for a lot more next season.

Ross will sign a new contract, Rom wont but he will be with us next season!

I think we are going to be a far more attractive proposition for players come this summer. Not only just getting European football, but the quality of the football being produced and if we could sneak a top 6 place, even better.
No doubt about that but we'll still have to offer much better wages to have a chance when competing with the teams who are regular CL qualifiers.
Still weeks away from summer but already a story this week that we lost out to Arsenal because they offered more money.
We're going to have to find that well buried war chest if there's going to be a marked difference from last summer.

Fair play to him. I still don't think getting a manager who can finish 6th-7th on a regular basis is a particularly significant achievement for us though.
Were 5th mate and he hasnt been here 12 months yet! The league has got so much more competitive now look at where city and UTD are after the money they have spent. Dont underestimate what he is doing/done in a short space of time.

Let's be honest we're extremely unlikely to finish there

being honest I reckon it's 50/50 mate. No good saying its not good enough if he gets us consistently 6th or 7th when it's his 1st season with us and we are sitting 5th though.

Think back to the last 2 seasons mate and there's no way you would have turned down 7th and a chance of European togger.

Let's just be happy, even if it's just for 5 minutes and we can slag him off next league defeat.
