Ronald Koeman discussion

It was always going to happen after the Chelsea (& tbh the Wham) result. We can't really improve our position and the teams we play have something to fight for.

Just need to improve the squad come summer, get people like Morgs fully fit and go again in August or probably July as it seems.

The away form is diabolical. As bad as last year's home form.

Above all tho, I want to see so much more culled.
Each passing week more and more players are playing their way out of the side for next season and in all probability the club.
What harm is there in promoting some of the under 23s for our match against Watford? Look at Kenny when he came on. The under 23 lads would be buzzing playing in front of a full house and live on TV.

He could, but, in all fairness anything other than top four may not have been enough to convince some of our stars to stay and to expect Koeman to drag us from a laughable 11th to 4th is a big ask.

I'm not arsed if Barkley goes, I'll be gutted if Lukaku does, but even now he's spent 50% of his Everton career in the bottom half.

That can't happen, but embarrassingly it did.

True. But I think he could go into the summer missing a 20 goals a season striker, and creative midfielder who provides 8+ assists a season.

It's a big reset button. You're talking maybe 5+ players out the door. We've got European football too.

Could be a shocker.

After the previous manager, I'm still in a place where I'll prey about worst case scenarios when they happen, rather than (rightfully) expecting it.

Not really surprised by our result today due to the fact that they (Swansea) had more to play for.

Judging by the looks of Ronnie's face a lot of these guys seem weak mentally and probably won't be here next season as it should be.

Big summer coming lads it's going to be who we can get it and move on

Baffled by some of his decisions in the last 6 weeks. It started with the dropping of mori (who granted is no world star) for jags and the return around the same time of barry into the team. Suddenly we looked old again.

The continued picking of dcl who might have a bright future but in all fairness has been utter cack in every match he has played.

Playing barry. We lack intensity and sit too deep with this 90 year old in the team. When barry plays we lose.

He allows this team to saunter around every away match from minute 1. He stands there with his arms folder looking at them not saying a word match after match. The lack of intensity off the ball and lack of forward passing is like a reel on loop every match.

He along with hiis team need a big jolt this summer. We need 7 starters in with the europa cup as well. Mid table team at moment.

I worry that alot of these players will be starting again next season. Mid table players and have been for last 7/8 years.

Whilst I'm cheesed off with that rubbish served up today, I think that next season, after RK has had this window (with full backing in the transfer market) will be the time to question him if we aren't doing the business. If we're say 8th after 15 games the pressure will be on him more than it is now. This transfer window is 'the' one when the owners have to step up, and so to the Manager and Steve Walsh. If the manager isn't backed fully, the fume will most likely be unparalled!

It's not on TV.

I can't see us getting higher than 7th next season with the problems we have.

Want to be surprised but I think with the increase in games, the losing of a large chunk of players (especially main players), the lack of depth we're gonna have to work very hard in the summer

Disappointing and feel for those who had endured the arduous journey to watch. Still Swansea and their astute manager did job on us with a threadbare Everton squad. At least some of the youngsters are getting some proper match time..
