Basically the entire Martinez era erased and expensively replaced.

Time will tell if we have actually improved or not.

This centre forward he's going to bring in will be absolutely pivotal to the big orange bears success or not at Everton.

Bring in a dud and it's hello mediocrity.
It's arguably the biggest call of koeman's time here. Get it right and we can seriously challenge for the top 4, get it wrong....

Do reporters @Connor not even listen to the questions asked previously? Koeman gave the Barkley / Hadjuk answers, then the next reporter asked the exact same question. Wasn't even the translated questions.

It's a media tactic. They want answers and they can see that Koeman is getting pissed. Maybe they are trying to provoke a reaction? Either way Koeman is composed enough to avoid those questions.

yes we dud...and your Freudian slip aptly described the original team selection and overall performance...a better team than Stoke would've battered us.
Hadjuk would not have been Splitting themselves at the prospect.

The respect you should give to Any Prem Team notwithstanding, do you see City and Chelsea quaking in their boots at the prospect of facing us if Koeman still wants to over thinking every game...before finally seeing the bleedin obvious.

He's got away with it so far due to the averageness of the opposition.

He may have the solution...but only if he sees that, at the moment, he's part of the problem...If he does have the solution to hand, he'd better whip it out quick.

You don't think so?
DCL at Wing-back - *rests case.
Are you serious ?

He'd have kept Lukaku if he had a choice.

Funes Mori is also out injured, he may have a future here still.

McCarthy almost permanently crocked.

Barry was 36, like.

Cleverley was crap and rightfully binned.

Barkley also injured, as well as being a prize bellend.

It is and it isn't. Some of them are too busy tweeting, taking notes or even writing emails to notice what's been said. 90% of the time, as the post below says, they're looking for extra info or a reference point to go back to when the cameras are turned off and they do the embargoed stuff.

Sometimes trying to get a bit extra from him he may have forgotten to say before that he thought of after.

As above, yeah and no but they haven't changed their style for some reason. It worked with Martinez because he'd take you in a circle by saying lots of words with little substance, you'd ask him again and he'd add a little substance to what he was saying 5 minutes ago.

Koeman doesn't budge. He gets annoyed more than anything.
