Had you asked me before the game would I take a point I would've said yes. Hard to see much of what Koeman got wrong the tactics he asked the team to play worked well and meant we came close to winning it. Holgates error meant it was a draw, but we put on attacking players to counter and get the second which is what we should be expected to do against 10 men. Give city some credit, they are a very good squad, well established as a team and can replace £50m players with similar from the bench (their defence budget is as high as some countries!). It feels deflating because we got so close. Hope it build some confidence for Chelsea and we can play a bit more expansive stuff but results matter and it's a tough early run.
