If I may speak freely today frandel?

A prime Zidane with Messi up top wouldnt have helped us today, not making excuses, but we had half a team missing and the rest had the fatigue, poor doesnt cover it, but ok.

You know I am always happy when Evertonians, whether they are from a bleak North East industrial wastelands or otherwise , can say it how they feel it.

I think there is some fatigue but also there is sending away Belgian Kev in our hour of need. Of playing Williams when he is clearly very bad. Or not building his whole midfield around Besic.

It's all very confusing and Big Ron has a poor away record with Everton.

Spent a load of money but doesn't seem to have a clue what the starting 11 is or the formation/system/style he wants us to play, weird.
His signings have left a lot to be desired. He wants to play a high intensity pressing game but then proceeds to sign two centre halves who have no pace and therefore cannot play a high line. He spends the summer signing another 3 players who have no pace for the midfield/forward positions. Hasn't signed a replacement striker. All in all it's looking like a bit of a dis-jointed mess.

When all the dust settles down and everyone chills out, the thing is the manager ain't goin anywhere unless where in trouble of relegation which we won't be, he is staying some people like him some don't but the money he has been backed with entitles him to the end of the season at least.

Generally I am positive of the work he is doing. But he's too negative against the Sky clubs but he's not the first manager we've had to be so.

You lost me with the besic thing.

Time for the CFP to take over. Martial law may be required

Now someone slash someone

We must prepare the Waters of Forgiveness , for Ronald, for Steve Walsh, for the Weasels, for the Snakes, for the Sunderland fans, basically just everyone get in with those Speedos on

Koeman could sign Martial, good point. Might keep him in his job

A bitter irony that @davek said exactly this

Difference is I think Ron could change if he feels confident enough in the team and formation but that's partly down to him. Mitigating factors today is the ammount of games in one week plus we have injuries and lack of that focal point. If we get everyone back and the signings in and it's still the same set up then it's time to make a judgement. What I like about Koeman opposed to Martinez is that he isn't afraid to change formation or personnel within a gane if he gets it wrong, hopefully he recognises we need to carry more threat away from home from the start, especially against the biggest teams you can't just sit in and hope for the best. Three at the back can work with the right players but if it's the wrong formation with square pegs in round holes against these teams 9/10 times you will lose, that's mentality, players and tactics.
