Been a testing week.

First season with European football,it's going to be games like this where the team is flat, been a torrid week of games with 3 tough away games.

When all the dust settles down and everyone chills out, the thing is the manager ain't goin anywhere unless where in trouble of relegation which we won't be, he is staying some people like him some don't but the money he has been backed with entitles him to the end of the season at least.
It is precisely for this reason that he will be scrutinised more by the fans, the press and, probably, the board this season. Spending money in football doesn't buy you time it puts you under a microscope.

He got it wrong today. I understood the game plan against city, it was successful last season so it made sense to repeat the formula - especially as Pep is a stubborn bugger who refuses to change his tactics but Chelsea don't play like them, Conte is more flexible.
Koeman was at fault, he got it wrong from the start and then left it far too to change it.
Holegate is a fine young player but he's not a wingback. Kenny or Martina should be starting from now.
Sandro clearly wasn't fit enough to lead the line.
The whole approach was far too negitive. I get that we were missing a few key players and it being our 3rd game in 6 days players will have been tired but I want to see us go away to the so called bigger clubs and be positive.
It's not all doom and gloom.... the way some are reacting you'd think we had just had our arses handed to us by relegation fodder like West Ham rather than the champions but we need to be better. Massive 4 days ahead for Ronny and Walsh

Generally I am positive of the work he is doing. But he's too negative against the Sky clubs but he's not the first manager we've had to be so.

If it was just the "Sky" clubs it would be bad enough.

But it is like this every away game now......Boro, Hull and Stoke away last season spring to mind.

And Lord knows what would have happened in Split if Iceland had not hit his wonder strike :pint2:

He's got it wrong in the transfer window this season. Klaassen totally unnecessary, should have had a striker in before Lukaku left or the very minimum as soon as he left. Signed a load of players but not one with any pace at all. No backup for Baines. Somehow has spent close to 150m yet has to play Jagielka and Williams together out of desperation after just two league games such is the lack of depth and quality in the squad. Also signing Rooney, for me, was a huge mistake, regardless of his two goals so far (only if, as I assume, he's been promised to be the main man and will be playing from the start when 'fit' - would have no qualms having him a squad player).

Agree with all of that except for the Rooney comment.

He has been the one bright spot in this nascent season IMO.

Well, him and DCL.
