Ronald Koeman discussion

I think regardless of Thursday if United beat us which on current form they will questions will be raised. He's on 6 mill a year who else would we get for that? ( seriously here ) I don't know who anyway lol

He reminded me of Walter Smith today in his post match interview. I kept waiting for the word disappointed and there it was. I thought he was on the right lines last season, but, perhaps following the absolute incompetence of Bobby Brownshoes made him look better than he was.

The obsession with signing central midfielders is puzzling, especially when, with exception of goalkeeper, we are woefully short in all other departments. Still, ok this is football. I don't think we are in any danger, but, I will be surprised if we finish as high as 7th this season.

On the bright side, we have a lot of new players and perhaps things will be better in a few weeks once they have gelled. Ashley Williams as a regular starter though?

Most worrying thing is if we lose our home form. There's absolutely no sign our away will improve. Looking at the team if anything it's shorn of pace now which means away we will struggle badly.

Will take a good beating from some dross team for a lot to see that maybe We have worryingly regressed

Great observation.

If that home form dips we will be in serious trouble.

I'll be honest I'm turning.

Not just on him but the whole regime.

I can easily be turned back but today was effing grim mate.

Can't be having another performance like today and Chelsea, that is for sure, especially the defence side of the team. Shocking I would expect that back line to be well drilled.

Nail and head.

It's like watching a very expansively assembled version of a Smith team.

I think it's fair to say he is now on very borrowed time. @davek was all over this bad appointment very early on. We have all been duped...again
Agree but you forget that davek supported the fraud martinez....So who is our next manager? Mourinho? Wenger? Poch? Favre (da feck is he ?) Thomas Turngoose ? sorry Tuchel... Klopp? nominations please...lollol

Would never have imagined myself to be so impatient a few years ago, but it's impossible not to be.

I can't deal with the fact David Moyes is our most successful manager in 20 years. David Moyes!!! We're entitled to bemoan when things aren't improving. We should be improving every single season.

I never imagined myself doubting the manager this early into the season. Last year I kept saying he gets the first year, then things have to get moving. There's absolute justification to be angry with what we've seen the last three games. We're already down on the points from the same fixtures last year - From a mighty 2 points to a mighty 1 with almost zero goal threat.

Koeman should look how quick we turned on Barkley and he could end up running the same track - Never lived up to the promise and then shafted the club.

It's tough as we really do have difficult start against really good teams.

We actually have 1 more point now than I thought we'd get from this mad first 5 games in total.

If these sort of performances keep going against the crappier teams then ... well sadly that's that.

Hopefully something magic happens and we stumble over something that works. God knows what that will be.

I can't blame Koeman.

He built a castle on a swamp, with the expectations the foundations wouldn't be a swamp.

There's a talented team there that's missing key pieces to make it work. Today we were always getting battered - I am surprised that people are seem caught unawares by it.

Haven't looked good since the start of pre season. There's no system or plan to how we play. We just belt it up field and see if anyone wins a header. The lack of width and pace is frightening. Questions should be getting asked already.
