I thought he meant that they weren't mentally prepared as in something never sunk in, because he went on about how many times they watched clips of that Gomez cutting back in his right foot
Harsh words. I don't think you'll be on Mr Moshiri's Christmas card list after calling him that.
You can watch clips all night long, might have been more useful to play an actual right midfielder.
To be honest mate, we have stunk the place out in every game this season, bar the first half of the hadjuk game. Not a knee jerk reaction, but I am seriously wondering is there something going on behind the scenes.Someone has just made the point that maybe what went on with Rooney off the pitch may have got the squads back up. Been awful since.
TRUe - but again no width - both full backs exposed - Baines looks past his best the trio in the middle = another joke - 3 no 10s and a young forward with no service??????????Being clever, he is indirectly criticising the players.
Not sure it's wise to compare that whilst ignoring the home record.
..when we play 3 CBs, I do think it's a mistake to play your most aerially dominant on the right side. Keane is your main CB so play him there.
This is my biggest problem with Wayne. You come back that deep when you are defending a lead... not when you are trying to help your squad relieve pressure and mount an attack. We only put ourselves under pressure when we play that compact in our own halfAnd the different formations and roles don't help either - he has played Rooney all over the place since he joined and whilst Wayne is experienced and has at least been trying he has never been very disciplined at holding his position so don't think it helps anyone settle.
