Ronald Koeman discussion

Ya my whole point all summer. I knew this would happen. From expecting to invest 100 million when mosh arrived to 3 windows later we would have made a profit if barkley was sold that last hour.3 weeks into the season and out expectations have dropped all of a sudden.People calling out the bedwetters. But the bedwetters knew the problems that lay ahead. We knew that the summer window was nowhere near good enough after losing lukaku and barkley. The whole team looks clueless. Relying on dcl up front. In fairness i dont mean no harm. He is a young lad. But he offers nothing. Nothing. No pace in the play. And above all. ...Koeman on about his pressing game. His team wouldnt press a pancake.
That's the thing really if you want your team to press and press high up the field you buy players to fit into that system .at the minute we don't have a system or that's how it feels to me like when we play 3 at the back we do t have the full backs who are capable to play there.

Thank you Connor :(

You have made my mind up.

I am on vacation in Portugal right now and I was going to go down the pub to watch the game.

No flipping way now.....because what you say will most likely come to pass

Go their get bladdered mate, like I did tonight mate it seriously helps.

A free pass in that I fully expect a drubbing. A gutless performance should still be criticised.

4 home wins on the spin is all that will suffice afterwards tho. Anything less is not acceptable.

Cloud cuckoo land, Tim my son.

The apologists dismissed every voice that protested the embarrassing performances in the last few league games on the ground that we were playing City, Chelsea and Spurs as the rantings of "bedwetters".

Well tonight we played an average Italian side and it was exactly the same.

So I hold out no great hope that this current shower under this woeful coach are going to string a four match winning run together.

No sir.

It just ain't happening

If our expectations don't change nothing will change. With the added investment I expect improvement each year not stagnation, or failing that I expect more changes to get it right.

If we are happy to accept bottom half finishes followed by 7th place for 2 years without a trophy then things are no better from the Moyes era. And yes this criticism extends to everyone at the club. It's still all promises without any real action. Success may not come fast but the least I expect is a relentless strive for success. I want to see the effort.

Koeman is currently one of the highest paid managers in football. I get he didn't get all he wanted in the summer but he got most of it. The team has no identity, no fight and is losing any positive intentions it has quicker than it did for Martinez. He must change things around very soon, and just like Martinez as soon as we get dismantled by teams we're expected to beat that's it. But the mentality has to change.

I'm not apologising for him in any way. The fact I'm saying a free pass on Sunday is the biggest indictment on him you'll find. I simply can't conceive any way we will compete with United. That's why I say free pass. It's damning on Koeman and the board if anything.

Wah wah wah.....the reason we are where we are is that the teams above us spend a lot more money than us and have better players.

We have had a load new players, at least give them a chance to bed in.

Yes it is not nice to see, yes we have to go through some pain sometimes, but I predict the panic will soon be over.

spurs spend more?

2-1 to us, Lukaku misses a pen in the last minute to make it 2-2. o_O
We have only won there once since before Moyes time, that was when he was in charge there. With the awful run we are on I'm not expecting much, but let's just hope tonight diabolical performance has given Koeman a kick up the back side to try his best to sort it, even if he has to change his favoured methods.
