Take a look at these, absolutely atrocious. So easy to beat us just by overloading the flanks because the wingbacks are exposed and have no-one in front of them. Likewise there is a huge overload in midfield in our favour but we could barely string a pass together there? Puzzling stuff.

Majority of our passes came from around this "back 2" and the wingbacks before aimlessly launching it forward to DCL.

Rooney/Sigi, Besic/Schneids practically on top of each other. Just goes to show they want to play in the same spots and should never be played together as it's like we're playing with 2 fewer players...

"I need to criticise myself because the team was not prepared for this tonight and that's a question to myself," he told BT Sport.

"I asked myself questions on what I was doing wrong against Tottenham, because it's not how I like to see my team.

"We can play bad football, we can miss chances, but the commitment and passion Atalanta showed in the first half was much bigger than we showed."

So as I've stated in other threads I wasn't able to watch the match. It sounds like it was as bad as it gets.

I remember last season when we fluked that draw against City with a moment of brilliance with Bolasie and Lukaku stealing a goal and Stek having the game of his life to prevent us from being totally embarrassed that day followed by Chelsea doing exactly what City should have done by tonking us 5-0.

Has Koeman 'topped' that low?

Yup, every bit as bad as that Chelsea game but most of the players are his now

I guess in the big scheme of things you expect the huge turnover rate to create a problem of continuity. That said Morgs stepped in from out of the team and slotted right in...has looked a shadow of himself in the games I've watched. The D looks weak too.

So many problems.

*waits 10 league games to opine.

Thing is though what is the answer?
Lennon and mirallas have pace. Tell them they are playing next 6 games and try to balance the team.
Hate to admit this but when Ross is fit we will need to play him even though he has gone at the end of the season. We need somebody who can keep hold of the ball.
There is no cohesion or pace or passing ability, no forward and no direction.
We have wasted so much cash it's embarrassing.

For me the only waste looks to be Klassen

I think that Ronald was the wrong manager for us at the wrong time not to say he's a bad manager. It's just that I think he has always seen us as a stepping stone to a better more prestigious job. So he has tried to rush success so that he can get a new big job by the time his contract runs out

It also doesn't help when your owner says that we only have two or three windows to catch up with the likes of Manchester United and Manchester City

Wa wa wa... laughable lad. My god you are a bright lad. The reason the teams above us are better they have better players and spent more money
Hmmm.
Well City spend 100m+ on full backs mate. On full backs.
Utd's record signing is 90m.
Chelsea have spent millions every season for the past 15 years.
Leicester were the exception to the rule.
So if you don't want to be 6th or 7th, I would switch it off, yes mate.

Wow. Id really want you by my side when going into battle. You do realise the moshiri came in to the club 3 windows ago. You do realise this "project" about changing everton into top 4 contenders. And now you have titally forgotten with that and are happy with 7th. Fine. You be happy with 7th. ( but the problem is we wont finish 7th. This is a mid table team as you need to consider the thursday night matches will have an effect.I and alot of other evertonians are not happy being midtable. I want the club to progress and challenge. I dont want them on a par with wba and i would say there are alot more like me.

I'd take 17th right now.

Wah wah wah.....the reason we are where we are is that the teams above us spend a lot more money than us and have better players.

We have had a load new players, at least give them a chance to bed in.

Yes it is not nice to see, yes we have to go through some pain sometimes, but I predict the panic will soon be over.

I bet you predicted we would bring in a top front man calling everyone bed wetters. You do realise we are supposed to be finishing up a project to enable us to challenge for top 4. Koeman stated he need 3 windows. He has got 3 and our new saviour mosh the utter fraud nearly made a profit after 3 windows only for barkley to pull out. Imagine that a profit after 3 windows. Laughable.
