Ronald Koeman discussion

Luckily , we play just 1 game in our next 7 games (all competition) away from home. That 1 game away at Brighton.
IMO, this is Godsend for Koeman. He has to make the use of the home games, get some rhythm going & get some wins and build the team. If not, pretty sure he will be booted out next month

I'm going to save my judgement on RoKo until Oviedo knocks us out of the Caribbean and we go down 1-0 to Bournemouth.

Even sacking him won't sort anything though. This Summer created one of the messiest squads we could have hoped for. I think there's more than just Koeman to blame for that.

Bottom three with only 1 win in the league. We have conceded 10 goals in a week scoring none.I was expecting a slow start to the season but i wasn't expecting this.At the moment were conceding goals like crazy and were offering no attacking threat. That is one fatal combination.

I would imagine if we beat Sunderland, Bournemouth and Burnley mate, we will have the apologists on calling out the 'bedwetters' about how they knew Koeman would get it right, and why they now can see us challenging the top 6, etc. Then when we get beat again, words like 'gel' will suddenly appear.

This has been one depressing evening. But this post really made me laugh. As the saying goes it's funny because it's true!lol

Shambles, why are we consistent with playing jags and Williams? Nah sorry big call now but would love to see Holgate start CB alongside Keane very good chance for them both to develop a good partnership instead of two crabs at the back who turn like the QE2. Why not give the likes of Kenny, Holgate and Lookman a run in the next 2-3 games? Sunderland Burnley at goodison easy said then done but we should be starting with some raw hungry kids who deserve a shirt and all 3 have legs not yard dogs who slow us down.

What were you expecting points wise? Maybe a win against Spurs at home if we caught them on a bad day?

I know the performances haven't been what any of us wanted but there were signs of improvement today. In hindsight it's probably better to have played the top sides early on and dropped points we were likely to drop anyway.

If a month passes and we're still getting results like today then I'll be on here saying it might be best for a change but I can't see that happening.

He'll turn it around and we'll end up finishing 7th with no trophies. He's already proven he isn't good in my opinion.

I think this is the most likely outcome of this season. The question then comes what do we do at this point.

Unfortunately, until we start buying star players we will always be outsiders for the top 4 and trophies are generally won by the top teams as well. You can't expect miracles from the manager.

At the moment we look like outsiders for the top 14.
