Ronald Koeman discussion

He'll turn it around and we'll end up finishing 7th with no trophies. He's already proven he isn't good in my opinion.

I think this is the most likely outcome of this season. The question then comes what do we do at this point.

Unfortunately, until we start buying star players we will always be outsiders for the top 4 and trophies are generally won by the top teams as well. You can't expect miracles from the manager.

At the moment we look like outsiders for the top 14.

What were you expecting points wise? Maybe a win against Spurs at home if we caught them on a bad day?

I know the performances haven't been what any of us wanted but there were signs of improvement today. In hindsight it's probably better to have played the top sides early on and dropped points we were likely to drop anyway.

If a month passes and we're still getting results like today then I'll be on here saying it might be best for a change but I can't see that happening.

It's the performances that have me concerned. At the end of the day i think conceding 10 goals in the space of a week is serious reason for concern.

Thanx mate and I'm sorry to hear that. If you need to talk mate I'm here. I vented on here after I lost him last year and I found it helped me with the support of others.

Cheers mate, appreciate that.

He hadn't been well for a few years to be fair, he was never out of the vets, and although we knew he wouldn't be around forever, it's cut us up, especially the kids and missus.

It's not great and I'm not happy with the defence either, but I still think we'll get better with the games coming up. Purely because the opposition won't be good enough to exploit the weaknesses.

My cousin's lad is a blue but he works at Old Trafford as a steward and he said that he spoke to Koeman briefly after the match.

He said that Koeman was literally in tears, to the point where he was sobbing hysterically and uncontrollably. Koeman hugged him and said something along the lines of: "Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place."

If anyone thinks that Koeman doesn't feel our pain, you're mistaken.

We do, but since when did the season get decided after 5 games? At this stage last year things weren't looking great for Chelsea and it worked out okay for them.
The difference is that Chelsea had a good manager and a skilful, well-balanced squad. We don't have either.
Also, we have played ten competitive games so far and still haven't shown any signs of improvement.

Maybe there'll be signs of improvement when we start playing crap teams. Usually helps when things aren't going well.

Contract extension offers can do that to a man.
