Ronald Koeman discussion

I only saw his post-match presser now but to concede in that manner that we are no better than 7th again is shameful.

Investment and money is important but its not all about that. Even if RK thinks we can do no better, he shouldn't admit it to the world.

Just another message to the players and fans that failure is acceptable, and don't dare hope for too much.

I get that the likes of Utd are better all over the park than us, but now and then it would be nice to get an unexpected result against them and the likes. It's possible rather than probable mostly, but it doesn't take a miracle.

Hard work, passion, organisation, clever tactics and good team selection still count for something surely.

Just a continuation of the line spouted consciously and sub-consciously by nearly everyone at the club for more than a generation.

Hardly surprising then seeing our record against sides above us - most soon be approaching 1 win in 100 against the top six away.

What a dreadful message to send out about Everton, and so soon after a period in which hopes were raised.

As I said above (To be fair you did post this before that post..) we signed two strikers. We also have other strikers at the club, Mirallas, Niasse, Calvert Lewin etc. They can all play there to varying abilities.

It is utter madness to have a formation in mind, not sign a key component to that formation (ie a tall rangy striker) and then persist to play that formation anyway. Adopt a formation that will get the best out of our rag tag bunch of attacking options instead.

I think he is trying shrek missed two sitters yesterday, the squad looked a lot better overall
Still early days easier games ahead

Oh God the Unsworth shouts have started again, utterly baffling why people would want a totally unproven fella to manage the club.

lollollol

Don't understand this unproven myth. Pochettino unproven when hired
Mourinho unproven when first arrive at Chelsea
Moyes unproven but manage to save us from relegation
Lots of manager come into this league and did decent job regardless proven or not.

There are many factor that determine the success of a manager, proven or not is Low on the list of things to be concern of.

It's a bit terrible imo. If he thinks we can do no better than 7th, he should walk then. Finishing 7th and getting in to Europe requires a LOT of luck to go your way. We only got there because Southampton lost to United. It just reeks of 'we can't do better than why bother?'.

Pochettino? so we are totally ignoring his 3 years in Spain?
Jose? Unproven?
Porto[216]
LOL

Moyes, 4 years at Preston? Where he won the League.

Christ.

Thanks for the usual indepth contribution ........

Talking to yourself again.None of your rants have any substance because they are all figments of your imagination posing as 'facts' . If you would try to do more than simply throw cyber crap all over the forum, you might get somewhere. I'm sorry if you have a sad life ,your only therapy being to call people names on here.....maybe one day you'll learn to have a decent, respectful discussion. You might find it enlightening. By all means disagree with people, but please try to do it without simply making things up. You're either very young, or a bit tired, like me.
