Sign. A striker first why sign Klassen 26 million who looks slow ?Personally Joey, I think Sigurdsson is a player we needed, because of the Barkley situation.
I'm not blaming Ross or anything, but since he wanted/wants out (and is injured) we did need another creative player.
The main worry is Koeman maybe not knowing how to get the best out of him just yet...
That being said, we'd see a much better output from Gylfi if he was given somebody to provide for up top, rather than having to play as a CF himself!
That's why I can't understand the logic in spending so much on a player like Gylfi, but not following that up with a striker.
And that is on the board.
You do not know this in any way shape or form so stop lying.
Koeman himself said the players he wanted did not want to come here for whatever reasons. It happens. We should have had a better back up option.
Also to be fair we did sign a promising Spanish striker who scored a decent amount of goals in La Liga last season plus England and Manchester United's record all time goalscorer. So lets not pretend we did not sign strikers, we obviously just did not sign the right ones for the system he elects to play. We DO have strikers at the club.
Couldn't agree more with this. Not having that.
The unfortunate error was also made by Keane, Jagielka and Pickford earlier in the game. Similar basic passes in dangerous areas. We got very lucky that it took them that long to punish us for it.
Our passing is awful, mainly because there is nobody to pass too most of the time as we are so static and our players seem confused as to what they are supposed to be doing.
Also there is zero point playing well for 82 minutes if the other 8 are hideous.
We were just a little bit of quality from actually getting something. I wouldn't say Utd were rattled for most of the second half, but we certainly took the game to them at times.Don't agree. I thought we played well for most of that game yesterday and should have been level before Williams error lead to the game effectively ending in the 83rd minute.
It was certainly an improvement on what we've served up in the last few weeks.

Why all the no 10s"?....
Backroom Staff packing their bags already. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!State of twitter. Kluitenberg has deleted his account due to the abuse he is getting.
I think the fact he said 'away' is quite important here mate.

There's not enough life boats for the rest of us...Backroom Staff packing their bags already. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Flat footed Klassen are you seeing a different player than me?Well Klaassen isn't really a number 10.
He's a central midfielder whose main asset is drifting into space and making forward runs to support the strikers, linking the play with crisp one-touch passing.
In every game he's played he's attempted to do that. This notion he's been awful is absolutely ridiculous. In fact, after Keane and Pickford I'd say he's the one who's settled in quickest and I don't know why Koeman didn't bring him on yesterday.
Klaassen plays the ball quickly and it's actually what this team needs. Unfortunately, most of the others don't seem on the same wavelength!
Not having that.

My concern with Gylfi and the new team is that it's a very different style. We were set up and trying to (Albeit not well yet - but we were showing flashes in the last few years) play a pacey, counter attacking, swift style of play, and we had fast players. The lovely Stones-Barkley-Lukaku set up with Mirallas, Baines, Coleman, in theory, and with all of them at their best, was an exciting team for a fast aggressive style.
Now all of our players are more slow paced, 'unlocking defences with neat passes', or 'chess strategy' style players, and I don't think we're sorted about how we're supposed to play yet.
totally different set up, and the coaching and tactics are obviously not catching up
