That probably will be a win, it will paper over the cracks for a week or two then back to this, Brighton would be a good game for Unsworth to start his stint as manager.
He's got one game experience mate one game it's to big a gamble.

With regards to the back line he can't win because we have so many players who are past it and capable of making mistakes that'll cost us the game. You can definitely blame him for not signing replacements in the summer, but in terms of team selection now I'll shudder at whatever back 4 he selects.
He'll turn it around. We need some perspective of where we are at, what the summer sought to achieve and the run of fixtures we've had.
International break has come at the perfect time. Get the players away with their countries and hopefully regain some confidence.
He's making mistakes at the moment but I imagine it's difficult to re-energise a squad where there are few partnerships, partly because of the influx of new players.
I'd like to see him make some changes, particularly Schneiderlin and Williams but at the same time, I understand when we are in a moment like this, having a back four where only the LB has any real top flight experience in a team expected to have possession.
I know we all think a back five of Pick, Kenny, Holgate, Keane and Baines is a good idea but it borders on suicide.
We will recover, have a bit of faith
To be honest I was doing ok until I tried to name the 11 - tough decisions but tried to think of who would offer more enthusiasm and be stable over 5 games. The back four was tough as we have injuries AND crap players! No width in that team and Rooney won't stick up front
I'm at a loss as to what's happened.
We finished in the bottom half in consecutive seasons under Roberto, but last season it looked like we'd turned a corner.
And Koeman has never finished lower than 7th in the Premier League.

I never was convinced about Koeman from word go, he did improve strangely last season when Gueye was away and played Davies, started buying decent players but has no idea how to play them together. We actually look better when some are taken out and use players who were here last season but I just feel he's not right for us. Just for the record I'd give Unsworth the caretaker role untill the new year then go from there. If that was the news in the morning Koeman goes replaced by Unsworth I'd be over the moon.Mirallas is spent and has been for a while. I love the lad but he's lost his sharpness/desire. Niasse can come on for the last 20 minutes in games when we need a goal, anything more than that and he's going to put in performances like today.
You say with such authority that we'd be better off without Koeman yet have no idea who will replace him. Seems a bit odd to me. Especially since we're 7 games into a season with a completely new side.
I can see how badly we're playing. I'm sure Koeman can as well but sometimes you've just got to be patient and wait for things to turn around.
We will recover, but what comes next? Do you think this guy is going to win us something?
Well I might as well pack in now.
Not watching anymore of this garbage and if the owner won't change things I guess I will.
Not that I'm saying sack him but I agree with you that if they're going to do it just do it now, then the new guy will have a week or 2 to get sorted before the next game and could go on to keep us in the Europa. I hope Koeman can do the above but not looking likelyIt's early enough for someone to salvage things for Everton this season, Koemans just getting us deeper and deeper in trouble and has no idea how to turn it around.
