Ronald Koeman discussion

Different game? What was different about it? It was the PL and we were absolute gash, stinking out Goodison under HK in his 3rd spell and then that moron Walker. You were probably nuzzling on yet Ma's tit judging by your maturity level. Which returning banned poster are you btw?

Get a grip, resorting to insults because people are disagreeing with you and showing concern. You were probably sitting in the park with a tot of whiskey reminiscing about the war judging by your anger levels. And yes I have come down to your level.

There was no where near the money in the game in them days and we were still trying to recover from our best ever team dismantling because of the lack of European football. It was a struggle but we didn't spend £200million did we. Moron.

Well, if you think the long barren run last autumn was "very good"......exiting both cups at the first hurdle was "very good".....the reprise of the autumn shambles come the spring was "very good".....the usual tummy tickling at the "big clubs" (United excepted) was "very good".....finishing an albeit improved but still remote 7th and finishing in front of no team Moshiri would "expect" us to finish behind is "very good" then fair enough.

Now, if you can point out what part of that paragraph is "re-writing history" then go to the top of the class and collect a Crackerjack pencil.

Because they are stone cold facts, my friend.

That you choose to bury your head in the sand and ignore them is your own look out.....but be assured, our current travails are merely a continuation of the downward trajectory we have been on since we reached the heady heights of 2nd in the league after three games last season.

This season, without the cushion of a very good start, we are right down among the strugglers and if last year's precedent set by Koeman, indeed even that was pressaged at Saints the season before, is repeated then any sane Evertonian is fearful right now....very fearful :(

Wake up and smell the rain, sir.
Yawn.

We finished 7th and were 15 points ahead of our nearest rivals and 14 points better off than the previous season, that's a very good return in your first season. Yes the cups were a real disappointment, but the league result was as good as we could have expecting following the departure of El Clown Shoes and the state he left us in.

This season so far was been bloody awful and he needs to sort it or ship out, you're confusing the point I was making, you can't re-write last seasons good return as being anything else.

So your 'die hard' jibe wasn't a dig? Pipe down Butters yer bad beaut.

If only we could all reach your incredible levels of maturity.

I think it's quite clear what he meant, or had we just spent £45m on someone in 1991 aswell?

Today's rant:
I don't believe you need to be a psychologist (and I am not) to listen to his interviews and realise that the man has an ego only dwarfed by the gargantuan size of his actual head. He is by comparison to his predecessor highly accountable but there has been an undertone of "yes I am sorry the results are poor and we are playing crap, but its clearly not my issue because I am a great player/manager".
It cannot be easy to live your post-adolescent life being told how great you are, and then deal with adversity and crises in your professional life. It must be very difficult to face the fact that your decisions have been wrong and despite what everyone can see its clearly not just a case of "thats football".
One has to wonder how much 'say' his backroom staff have or are they all 'yes men' in awe of his great achievements. His personality is not likable, and I think that and his arrogance present a flash point with the players who have also been told all their lives that they too are great. I don't think Lukaku said a positive word about him, Ross clearly doesn't get along, Miralas ego wont fit in and perhaps potentially Lookman's too. Who knows if even Kenny is in that boat - leading England to a junior World cup must make you feel pretty good about yourself.
So then how would that affect the experienced 'stars' and why are they playing so badly. My only theory here is they have had to kow-tow to RK so much that they have less belief in their own abilities because even the great Rooney/Sigurdsson/Baines/Williams/Klassen is beneath the great and powerful Koeman. Don't do what you are known for being good at - do what I tell you! This might be borne out by his (and Keane's) claim after Sunday's debacle that the players executed his plan well.
He is not going to eat crow , ever, I do not think he is the right type of leader for this team. We thrive under someone who cares more about Everton than they do about themselves.
However, that said I am still on and off the fence about replacing him as I do not think there is a replacement available that would offer a cure. Unsy is not ready yet.
I am sure someone on GOT is a psychologist and can help me with my ramblings...

You lost me right there.

As I suspected, no retort is possible so you are reduced to making silly dismissive gestures :)

But that's OK....that's t'internet

He's an angry chap isn't he, doesn't like to debate, just likes to be correct. The internet does this to people.

Posted without a hint of irony......impressive mate lol

Quite frankly my dear, he don't give a damn !!
