If Funes Mori was the alternative LB then Baines should have played. Davies is better than Cleverley imo. Deulofeu was having a stinker and should have come off at half time. He had options. It turns out he didn't choose the right ones tonight.

We didnt lose because of funes mori or cleverley. It was totally reasonable to play with deulofeu and Lennon. They scored a lucky one and a stunning one and we missed Lukaku. Thats it. This has nothing to do with a manager. We lack creativity and we don't have players who'll bring that. The only one maybe is Deulofeu but he is terrible the last games and never scores.

Well maybe the last round he hadnt been here long enough so need to go main 11 so he can also learn more about those players, and needed to give the regular first team game time together to help them settle in and get up to fitness.
