Clearly lost the plot!
Looking very much like Phil Mitchell today

I can’t believe there’s still people defending him and the whole thing really.

I don’t know if it’s blind hope or whatever, but tonight was slightly better, but it was just blood and effort. No plan. Nothing.

Let’s just lob all the forwards on and hop for the best every game.

It’s pathetic.

Honestly in two minds, but I don't see anybody waiting to take over with a magic wand. We are still going to have a god awful centre forward on the pitch.

With Martinez, it was very very clear the players had give up on him. His enfuristing insistence on playing the same players in the same formation every week with the same pathetic results, culminating in an absolute no show at Sunderland.
For all Koemans faults - and I've mentioned countless ones in the past, he is at least trying different formations, different players. There was a spirit in the players today hampered by a lack of confidence and an abject lack of quality in some. The subs today were bold and almost worked (ok the Sandro one was desperate).

He got us out of a similar rut last season and did the same with Southampton.

I'm on the verge of pulling the trigger but I'm not there yet.

The best (outfield) players tonight were Davies, Mirallas and Lookman.

All players he hasn’t given enough game time to.

That suggests some really poor judgment over the course of the season.

Why has he continually left them out? What are the factors we can’t see? Pure stubbornness?

Mate i haven't felt this depressed about Everton since the Walter Smith years.Normally i would be fairly bullish about our prospects in matches. But now i fully expect us to lose more often than not. That's what Koeman has done to me!
Agreed 100% I can't believe we're shaking in our boots ahead of Sunday's match. I am totally prepared to lose that one as well and normally I'm not all that worried if it's at Goodison.

For what it's worth I don't think he could have done much more tonight i thought his selection was fine especially if Baines is injured and the subs were attacking.

We did not deserve to lose that game the luck when the free kick hits the inside of the post and comes out and they go and score with the first attack which deflects of Keane was really harsh.

Was Lookman really that good?

Our board will just say 'well we didn't expect to win the Europa league anyway' and will do nothing. The spineless clowns won't do anything until premier league status is at stake or continued fan protest starts to reflect badly on them.
